I just logged in to play again and saw that there was some automatic updates that loaded prior to letting me play.

Hopefully these are fixing the lag issues. So far there's a bit of an improvement.

I've only been experiencing lag while visiting friends. Other than that my game play is fine.

The easter box the game really rubbed me the wrong way. I'll probably take a break for a bit and come back next event and see if they go back to the earn system and not the frustrating lotto thing.

Reddit is doing the same thing for free. A few of us have done it. No issues on my end with the process, took about 10 hours from request to having all of the items/cash/doughnuts/etc.

Mind clearing your town while on hiattus? Sure would help me out.
Some new skins for Lisa and Milhouse I would like.
Same for anyone else taking a break, would be nice for the people still trying to level up.

It looks like the lag issue has been resolved with the update this morning. Been playing quite a bit today and no stuttering when tapping items or scrolling the town.

I haven't been able to connect to the server to play for the last couple of hours. Keep getting the "Cannot Connect to Server" error. Yet the game keeps sending me push notifications of my tasks being done.

I purchased the character and unfinished shed as I got some of the free doughnuts and money. If I didn't have freebies, wouldn't have purchased it. Especially after starting the tasks and seeing they required more money. (Noted below in spoilers so that I'm not ruining the new character for everyone)

The free character is Chester, a member of the Hibbert family. There is a small story line with some tasks. One involves buying the Bloodmobile which is 132,000 and then an 8 hour task to run it and have 10 different characters donate blood. I'm only up to Part 5 and it's been a couple 8 hour tasks and about 150,000 in money to buy things for them

It also seems more stable. I haven't had it crash on my nexus 5 since the update. Usually is crashes at least once a day.
