I'll be there. But I live here so it's not a trip for me.

Both gillies and berra looked like nhl goalies even though they still need a bit of work. Berra did not give up on plays and made a few spectacular saves. Not an after thought

Which brings up an interesting aspect of jersey fouls, if you are given a jersey by the team in question, is it really a jersey foul to wear it in public even if it would be a clear jersey foul if you bought the jersey yourself?
If you put the name Feaster on it, yes. Yes, that is his last name, but 1) putting your name on the back of a NHL team jersey is lame and 2) It is the name of the GM who trade away the franchise player in which that number is attributed to.

not disagreeing with your assessment, but i think the only way we can say they look like "NHL goalies" is to have NHL level players shooting on them.

Prospect goalies, if doing well, should look just fine against prospect shooters.

Berra just made it look easy. Very fluid motions, never seemed out of position. The one comparible that I kept in mind was the first day of main camp for Karlsson. Berra seems more comfortable. Doesn't give a lot up in net. Karl just didn't look that quick and aggressive imo.

I'm not sure if this is beyond the line of rabid speculation, or just plain awesome!

I've watched enough prospect goalies play against prospects to know that both gillies and berra are a cut above. They both are better than irving &taylor last year. The stops were mostly held or directed the shot to the corners/netting and had quick reflexes and lateral movement. Solis alround. I would even go so far as to say gillies is the best goalie prospect since trevor kidd. Reminds me a lot of jonathan quick, and he is huge in net

100% agreed. Gillies for his age is as good a goaltending prospect as this franchise has ever seen.

Kind of unrelated but Kovalchuk leaving for Russia makes me very happy that we didn't draft Nichushkin and instead got Monahan.

I'll put this here:

Roger Millions@RogMillions58s
Interesting to learn Mike Cammalleri helping Sean Monahan work out in T.O this summer. Good sign for #Flames.

good to hear. Cammalleri is a bit of a training freak from what i've heard (or what the commercials will have you believe ).
