Rare mistake by Datsyuk. Had all the time in the world to clear the puck, instead took an awkward backhanded swing and faned on the clearing attempt

What a game, hopefully this series makes it to a game six.

Datsyuk is ridiculously over rated around here. Yes excellent player, but he's got less than half the points of the current points leader and is a +2. Meanwhile Kris Letang has 16 points and a +7, but apparently a defensive disaster.

Eeesh. Toews gets a PP goal. Abdelkader should be tarred and feathered for that penalty.

He forgot the game was not being played in Detroit.

Wow, Toews looked like the world was lifted off his shoulders when that went in.

Don't see how he can argue, the stats speak for themselves.

According to the NHL players and their voting he (Datsyuk) is the most talented/skilled player in the NHL (TSN Top Ten).
Letang is on a team that wins 6-2, while Dat is on a team that wins 2-1. Letang plays vs 2 and 3rd line players, while Dat is playing vs top line players every night.
+/- for forwards has no place comparing these two players. Stats lie if not in perspective

Most ridiculous post ever. If I was starting a team I'd only take Crosby over Datsyuk. He's the best defensive player in the NHL and a magician with the puck offensively.
Calling him overrated just shows your lack of hockey knowledge.

In my opinion, there is not a player that is better at controlling the game than Datsyuk. He always manages to slip his way out of bad situations, and then makes the smart play nearly every single time. He may not be producing that many points these playoffs, but he is still very dominating. Not to mention his defensive play is ruthless; his back-checking is like watching someone spam stick-lift on NHL 13.

Letang is a great skater and good offensive defenseman but he's a trainwreck in his own zone at times. I don't know how anyone can argue against that.

Who cares about stats when it comes to watching Datsyuk. He is straight up really fun to watch. Not sure you can over rate one of the best two way players in the game. Haven't seen anyone going out of their way to say he is Gretzky or anything like that.

The Hawks are basically the Canucks that we've chosen to ignore because they gave the actual Canucks fits. They're a scumbag team and yes, he is.
