With the way this team has played over the past while with the young kids in the lineup, I'm no longer worried about drafting outside of the top 5.
I'm unexpectantly impressed with the structure of this team going forward.

Yeah, it would be horrible to draft someone like Lindholm. Only one of the best Swedish forward prospects in years.

I believe he said there are four elite prospects - not necessarily the ones currently ranked 1-4.
Whether we pick 1st or 8th, I think he'll say that player was one of the four.

Craig Conroy is starting to impress me as a talent evaluator. I think he was the one who singled out Horak for that trade. IIRC he was in love with Huberdeau prior to the 2011 draft and said something about taking him first overall, which I agree with.

We'd all love to draft MacKinnon dude. We can still win the lottery. It's how Chicago got Kane.
But if you would like to cheer to a team that rolled over and died to get a first overall pick, it appears you should find another team and another board.
