Other than THE GAF, I thought Giordano played pretty well last night. I think he is slowly but surely bringing his game around.
However, when you make a play like that, the dogs are going to pounce.
And while it may be coming around, he definitely needs to bring back that physical element before we can say he is the old Gio.

I thought he looked pretty awful, even ignoring that gaff. He turned it over or passed it into skates every time he had it on the PP.
It seemed whenever the puck was on his stick a fire drill ensued shortly after

God bless you Beers. That's 2 more points against your $20 bet.

Nice to see your panties can still get twisted in a knot. I was typing that out on my iphone on a bus returning home from a junior hockey game and missed the word don't, but you would have still jumped all over the post because that is what you do best, attack other posters.
Fact of the matter is that earlier in the season they were blowing these opportunities (the second half of back to back's).
Colorado - Loss at home
Chicago - OT loss
Dallas - Win
LA - Loss
Before the last two games they were under .500 when facing a team on the second half of back to back games, games that good teams should probably have about a .800 winning percentage in. They got the job done in the last two, thus my good to see comment.
But continue on with your attacking and trolling, it is entertaining at least.

Well one thing I noticed in my beer infused stupor last night was how TERRIBLE Douglas Murray is. I swear the kids at intermission can skate better than he can.
It was nice to see a team with a glaringly awful dman I could heckle instead of Butler.

Butler logged allot of time sure fine but he must have iced the puck with little or no pressure on 10 times. He had a 3 real bad giveaway's that Kipper saved him on.
Sven looked out of synch.
Stempniak and Stajan another solid game.
Glencross was hot and cold. Floated for a handful of shifts worked hard on others. Frustrating player to watch for me this season.
He is trying to beat everyone 1 on 1 instead of playing smart.
Grats only had a few shifts but he settled SJ down early that there was going to be no roughing up the Flames tonight.

If people don't like him....fine. He does have some rough games now and then. But when he plays perhaps his best game of the year I don't see the need to exaggerate to make it seem like he had a terrible night. He played well.

Bulter had some nice moments. Bulter was key on the Comeau goal it was a great rush through the neutral zone, and made some decent pinchs... but yes he did ice the puck several times.
And he did turn the puck over that resulted in immediate scoring chances 2 were on the boards where he made decision mistakes along the Flames zone boards.
Another was a bad clear near the blue line where he played the angle off the boards wrong instead being a board pass and resulted in a slap shot on Kipper.
and this one at 5:06 left in the 3rd. Nice initial play and a turn over that resulted in Kipper bailing him out. 3:37 of the clip.
I did notice Butler was not losing his man though he has gotten better staying in position and not chasing. Still lets the wingers in the zone too easy.

The Sharks forward got his stick on that clearing attempt by Butler. I guess it was a turnover, but holy moly we are getting pretty tough on the guy if that's the worst thing he did last night.
I'm sure if you watched every d-man close enough last night you'll find a play or two from every one of them that wasn't great, where they made a bad decision or turned the puck over. Worst of them all was Gio.
Butler isn't elite, but last night was a very good game for him. I'm not sure why we're nitpicking one or two turnovers to show he made some bad plays. His good plays outweighed the poor plays by a huge margin.

Ya i will admit its a weird habit i have every season if there is a D man on the Flames that is on my irritated fan radar.
When i go to the games i watch them like a hawk so your right i notice the mistakes more than most probably. For example Wideman who makes his share but i overlook them because of the other positives of his game.
Gio was terrible and has been making bone head plays all season.
As for Butler last night i agree

Never once posted something to troll and to answer your question, nope.
Calling out the "doubters" with the amount of time you whine about them is nothing more than a garbage, troll post.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that on CP.
He broke the two rules of streaking:
1) he kept his boxers on (which I'm thankful for)
2) he did it during an intermission
