As for Erik, he didn't get really an edit to me that seems he's making final council. If he does I would have expected them to explore his dynamic with playing both sides but instead the most we've heard from him is about coconuts mocking him and him talking strangely about subconsciously sabotaging himself (which might lead into the next episode with whatever the preview showed with Jeff).
Cochrane and Dawn seemed to have got that final tribal edit with lots of confessionals and their decision making, although so did Phillip.

Final challenges are usually something around balance and stability. Not really physical, but certainly linked to endurance. Could even be puzzle based. That would definitely help the women and might even give Cochrane the chance at his 3rd victory. Erik and Eddie must win to make final 3 or they are done no matter what. I just dont see any way Cochrane doesn't win this unless he is blindsided and voted out.
Lastly, it seems like someone will be medivac'd out of the game next episode which would make it a little bit moot on challenges. Id say its Erik who is flown out as he was trying to climb that coconut tree last episode and mentioned he didn't want to fall and victimize himself. That would leave Eddie, and I don't think he is that strong.

Back to back challenge wins by Eddie might do the trick as well. He played a terrible game but no one on the jury has any real animosity towards him and he has Malcolm, Reynolds and Andrea's votes close to locked already. Michael probably votes for him but I think he's a well enough adjusted person that he might give some credence to a strategic player so I don't know if I would say it's a lock. That alone is good enough for a tie (how does a tie work?). But Brenda's pissed, Phillip is so proud that he might vote for the one player that got him out (despite it being a terrible strategy) and the 2 other jury members might be just as mad as Brenda.

There's way too many potential votes for Eddie on that jury. The rest of them better get rid of him asap or they're playing with fire.

This could be Cochranes losing mistake. I think the potential jury votes that Eddy has already is more of a threat than Brenda was. He should have gotten rid of Eddy when he had the chance first then gotten targeted Brenda after.
They way it sits Eddie is still around and I wonder if he may have lost Brenda's vote with what happened. Then again she seems way more hurt by Dawn so he may still have it.
Gotta say one thing. Cochrane has been a master of getting other people to do his dirty work.

Yeah, this is the thing I was screaming at my TV last night... almost every reason Cochrane was bringing up as a good one to eliminate Brenda now was also a good reason to get rid of Eddie now. No matter which way you play it, Brenda and Eddie are both difficult to get rid of next time.
But at the end of the day, it's another lesson in that if you can get immunity, you do it. Brenda talking about letting Dawn win that challenge in the confessional, you just knew she would pay for it. She kept talking about maintaining humility, well, she might have taken it too far.

The problem with keeping Brenda around for Cochrane is that she was guning to get him out of the game, and would have tried to get Erik and Sherri on her side to take him out the next vote. This way he should have the numbers with Dawn and Sherri to the end, and can vote out Eddie and Erik over the next two votes.
It's not like either of them have shows much in challenges. Erik might have phoned in a couple of his earlier in the game, but Eddie has tried to win all of his, and hasn't really come close to winning any of them. The problem is now that Andrea and Brenda are gone it's going to be a lot tougher to beat Erik and Eddie in any physical challenges.
But I believe Cochrane made the right move in getting rid of Brenda last night. She was a phyiscal threat who was gunning for him, and would have beat him in the end anyway.

Exactly what I was thinking when she said she basically gave the challenge to Dawn I was like wut!?
Brenda sure has matured into a nice humble girl in the last couple of years it seems. Still calculating but out to do the right thing but carried it too far in this game. She made the ultimate mistake of letting people in too much and is why she was so hurt and her leaving comments so powerful.
I realize it's a game but it's sad that the people who were nice and sacrificed themselves for the greater good are trounced on and eaten alive by the sharks of the tribe for their apparent weakness.
Andrea sacrifices to get food for the tribe and boom. But at least she was playing hard to get someone else on her tribe out so there didn't seem to be any repercussions.
Brenda sacrifies probably the biggest reward in the game for her tribe mates and gets the boot because now she is too well liked. Ouch. Especially after she felt she had such a bond with Dawn. Dawn turns around and stabs her right through. Maybe Dawn was really really sour with being teased with the reward and then Brenda throwing it away to basically the enemy.
I wonder if this would have happened if Brenda kept the reward and took Sherri as her third. They could have made a pact for the 3 girls to oust the remaining guys.

I disagree. Brenda was the bigger "win it all" threat and she's actually done better in challanges then Eddie.
In order for Eddie to win he would need a pure personal vote from the Jury... he would need them to completely overlook that Eddie had absolutely no idea who was going home for any vote beside the vote where three necklaces were in play all held by him and his buddies (none found or earned by him). He spent the entire game at the mercy of others. Brenda could win the vote on either a likeability or a deserving basis.
Eddie has a narrow path to victory but it was no where near as good a path as Brenda had.

No way Dawn wins over Cochran if they both make final tribal.
This game has been all Cochran.
Just like BB had Ian win (a lifelong fan who watched every episode), I bet the same thing will happen with Cochran and survivor this time.

Some have mentioned that Cochran lost Brenda's vote, but I would think that would be incredibly hypocritical of her. As trackercowe said, she was already gunning for him for a while before this blindside. I would be shocked if Cochran didn't make this exact point if this "betrayal" came up at the final tribal council. Be mad at Dawn all you want, but you can't legitimately cry foul when someone turns the tables on you like Cochran did.

My prediction
I think eddie goes next and cochrane goes after that. They are the two biggest threats to win it. If eddie wins imunity, then cochrane next and eddie after that.
Sherri wont get any votes, and Dawn will be torn apart for constantly crying and then backstabbing and then crying more. I think that would wear thin out there pretty quick. Eric wins the unanimous jury.

I wasn't paying attention, Cochran got every single Jury vote? That's the vibe I got anyway. He did really dominate the game and he deserved to win.
I laugh at Sherri getting ripped apart by the jury and still thinking she played a good game, what a fruit.

They didn't show the rest but you have to think that if there was a vote for someone else that they would have shown it to build suspense. I think he won 8-0-0. I thought Brenda's request was really petty. The right person won.
From what I understand next season is Favorites vs. Family (hence the Blood vs. Water sub-header). Please no more Hantz's, I'm all Hantz'ed out.

Looks like Cheese wins! Congrats!
Pretty good season. Lots of ups and downs and a likeable winner. Good stuff.

Yeah the Brenda thing was over the top. At the end of the day unless someone rapes you in the tent the whole not talking for several months over a game might make good t.v. but makes you a pretty lousy person.
Sheri with her whole arguing with Eric was stupid, but then again she strikes me as not very bright.
The right person won going away, it was a decent enough season though it lost some energy once Phillip was bounced.

Finally the jury votes for the most deserving winner. Cochran played an amazing game and deserved every vote, No way was Dawn and Sherri going to get a vote.

I loved Sherri arguing with Eric.
She knew at that point she wasnt going to win, so she was not going to put up with someone having a go at her. She certainly was not going to put up with it from any of the people who would fall all over themselves to be in her spot.
I had no problem with that and think she was the first also ran to do so.
I loved that she told him to get lost rather than grovel for his vote and make herself look worse.

So who got the $100k runner up prize? Does Dawn and Sherri just split it?
