We made fake yard sale signs for the houses of friends who weren't with us that particular day. It would give the hours and then underneath we wrote "RAIN OR SHINE - it's indoors". Then we would place them at prominent, high-traffic intersections in my hometown.
My friend and his family had people just walking into his house all afternoon, until they realized what was up and went and took the sign down.

You need to be careful screwing with people's reagents. Our supervisor had to have a "chat" with our lab -- "anyone gets caught screwing up other peoples' experiments, they're fired, immediately".
There's pranks, and then there's sabotage - some people don't see the difference! (usually the victim)

Girl I was seeing: "How do you feel about me?"
Me: "This friends with benefits arrangement we have is working just fine for me, thanks."
Not the exact wording but that was this gist of it. Totally not what she wanted to hear either, I imagine.

I know you're kidding, but I had an undergrad student do this one time. They just "topped up" a bunch of my deuterated solvents with non-deuterated stuff because they didn't realize the difference.
That was almost as funny as when a student started "weighing out n-BuLi on the scale". They were actually weighing out the vermiculite packing material and didn't dig far enough to pull the bottle out.
Cool stories bro.

Today at lunch. We have a microwave in the kitchen in our office. Someone brought in a microwave TV dinner, put the timer on, and left. She always does this and is notorious for not returning in time to retrieve her food, which makes me angry. Today this happened again. Her food finished heating up and she was no where to be found. So I took it out, put my food in and warmed it up. By the time mine was done, she still hadn't returned. So I took my food out, and put hers back in for 3 more minutes, for a grand total of 8 minutes. I hope it tasted delicious.

At work, if you leave your computer unlocked and leave your desk . . . . It's all fair game from that point.

People need to use the microwave. The above solution for said culprit completely fits the crime. I hope she likes 8-minute microvwave dinner.

If it were in my workplace it would mean I couldn't use the microwave until she removed her food out of it.
Guessing there is just the one microwave.
(not 100% couldn't, but I wouldn't want someone else handling my food)

Is it really that big of a deal to take someone else's food out of the microwave?
It's not like the thing is on lockdown until she, and she alone, is able to come move her food.

In some offices, thats a major offence. Hell, with some of the food people heat up at my work, I wouldn't want to use the microwave after, let alone touch the food.

Back when I was in a work situation like this (one microwave for many employees), I always took someone's food out. If I wasn't there, they would take my food out.
It's pretty common sensical to me.
In fact, if she doesn't want someone touching her food, then shouldn't the simple act of taking her food out act as a stimulus to change her behaviour?
Edit: But I do agree that it is an a-hole thing to do.
My contribution - I 'punish' people who don't know how to drive by denying them a lane change. I will gladly slow down to let someone in if they are going at the proper speed and actually turn their head to shoulder-check. You don't do those things, and it's going to be a long time of driving beside me...

No, it's not that big of a deal to take it out, I've done it before. But it's inconsiderate of her to leave it in while she disappears and everyone else is waiting for her to get back. And besides...what's the name of this thread again?

Years ago when I worked at the Saddledome, there was a Christian youth conference going on. Me and some buddies I worked with gathered up about 10 condoms, unwrapped and filled the tips with white hand soap. Then dispersed them around the dome. In seats, on floors, on toilet seats... Plenty of solid reactions.

If someone touches my food I go beserk. I can't eat at buffets. This is why when I microwave food I stand beside the microwave until my food is cooked and I remove it. It's just inconsiderate to leave your food in the microwave, even if you don't have issues like I do.
As per your lane change, awesome! I often see people who put a signal light on, which to them means they automatically get to go in my lane. I had one guy want in front of me because there was about 3 feet of space between the car in front of me and my front bumper. He started veering over hoping I'd move, which I did not. There was no one behind me as far as I could see in my mirror, so all he had to do was slow down for a few seconds and drop in. he swerved his car at me hoping I'd move, which I did not. Finally he got behind me and decided to tail gate me. We stopped at a red light and he was about two inches behind me. When it turned green I refused to move. you can honk on your horn all you want, that doesn't mean I'm going to move. I have tonnes of free time, so if you're going to be a dick, you'll suffer. Unless it's a merge, you don't get to join my lane just because you want to and/or you went up the lane that ends. If you want to come into my lane you obey the rules of the road, wait for an opening and change safely. If you just start coming over, I'll risk you hitting my car. We'll see how that works out if you hit me.
