I was thinking the same thing. Put in the 4th or 5th pitchers in the lineup and then they'll still be fresh for their start later on.

That was one of the most boneheaded plays I've ever seen by Davis. Dumb or lazy I dunno.

Davis simply made a mental error. It sucks but you sometimes don't learn unless you make a mistake. They won't make the mistake the rest of the year that's for sure.
