Im guessing PM's have been sent to Alan21 and PegCityFlamesFan. So whoever shows up 1st gets that team. If neither shows up by X amount of time we think of plan b.

We should give Aeneas some time to make his pick before we start giving away his team to anyone.

I think once we get through round 1 and that everyone has picked we should enforce more rules. Maybe cheerio can post a few rules on the 1st page so that everyone is aware of what is going on. I know we aren't really in a hurry to get this thing done, but only 21 picks since Saturday isn't very good. Just wait until we have to start picking the Tim Jackmans and Kyle Cliffords of the NHL.

My proposed rules(after round 1)

1. You have 2 hours to make a pick once its your turn
2. If you are within 3 picks and you think you will be gone for the next 6 hours, PM someone.(or more picks away if u know you will be away longer)
3.If you fail to make your pick then the pick will get choosen for you. To be fair we won't pick scrubs. Try and pick who you think you would take.

-The best way to make that part fair is if 3 people who are online at the time can come up with a decision to make a fair pick for that person. Preferably the 3 people who just picked and not the person who is picking next so its fair.

Anything else?

I think we assigned people to PM, but maybe we post again on the main page who to PM. It should be someone who can be on here most of the time during the day. I would, but I can only check on my phone periodically throughout the day.

Also I tried to make the roster page more fancy.

Now I see Alan21 is online, so give Aeneas another hour and then Alan21 can have his team if he doesnt show, then it will be a battle for the Caps between Aeneas and PegCity.

Just anything to get the ball rolling here, as I hope these guys don't get too upset if they don't get the team they originally wanted.

I can take Pm's if people want as long as it's after 7 during the week. It's no guarantee I will be around much during the day before that. Unless someone else wants it.

As far as the picking players for another team goes I think the best way to do that is if 3 people who are online PM each other 3 players, so 9 players in total get picked and just go with the player that get picks most. Hopefully their won't be ties, but hopefully we don't have to worry about that at all.

I like the Miller pick, risky to take a goalie early but I think its good. I always plan to take goalies in rounds 3-5.

In hockey pools goalies usually get you the most points (well the pools I'm in)
so I usually stack up on 3 really good ones in the first 7 rounds and then use them as major trade bait. Sometimes works
