I'm not liking Dickenson's play selection at all. For one, they aren't running the ball enough; even when (like today) it seems to work, they use it a bit and then it's back to the pass. Second, there seem to be an inordinate number of passes wide and nothing in the middle of the field. Burris is always throwing 30-35 yards to get 10, or 20 yards to get 5. The only short passes seem to be the screens and dump passes that the opposing defence sniffs out 2 times out of 3.
I'd like to see some slants and more of the quick passes right off the snap, like the ones he threw to Lewis to finally get the offence started. Plus, much more Reynolds and Cornish. They should be like Edmonton with a 1/1 pass/run play selection ratio - they have two great backs, so USE THEM.
