And it made for such a kickass opening sequence. Genious product placement, really.

Yeah I see that too. Saw a bit of foreshadowing of that with Walt's wife demanding to go to the police. I don't want to see it end in witness relocation. I'm hoping that Hank and Walt team up for a showdown of sorts with them vs. Gus, the Cartel and maybe even the higher up DEA guys.

SO we all agree that Pinkman is now embracing his role as a killer?

This show has been on my "to watch" list for a couple of years. I just finished season 1 and started season 2 when Tuco kidnaps Walt and Jessie.
Really superb acting, character development and plot.

Sunday's episode set up all sorts of goodness to come. The cartels being involved again, Hank with a major breakthrough on the case. The rest of the season should be some oustanding television. My biggest question right now is whether Hank will figure out Walt is Heisenberg this season. My money is on yes. And then the final season becomes Hank trying to help Walt out of the situation against the Cartels.

I don't see it as "embracing" rather then grudgingly accepting.

I see it more as him faking it. He's trying really hard to buy into and be that character, but I still don't think it's really in him and he doesn't want it to be.

I personally just can't see Walt and Hank teaming up. Walt seems to have a chip on his shoulder with Hank and I can't see him wanting to accept any help from him. There have been a couple of episodes where Walt seems to want to prove that he is "bigger" or more important than Hank. I see their rivalry growing.

I enjoy this show so much, I'm trying not to speculate what will happen next. I'm just going to let what happens happen and enjoy every moment of this cereal drama.

Oh hey, I totally agree, and to echo other peoples comment, I do think it was a great opening scene. I also have no problem with product placement whatsoever. It's just a slight annoyance because it seems the creators (at least to me) have gone out of their way to keep an appropriate timeline for the show. Doesn't ruin the scene, or the show for me in any stretch.
By the way, am I the only only rooting for Hank to actually catch Walk?
The closing seen with Hank was fun to watch yesterday, it was great to see him doing some good detective work instead of being an overbearing prick like he is usually portrayed. Don't know what happens when he does find him, but I think/hope that's where the show is headed.
Another great episode last night.

Honestly, and I'm sure i'm not in the minority here, I had no idea what video game that was, in fact I thought it was House of the Dead 2 if i was forced to guess.

If I was so OCD about this timeline thing I wouldn't have known either. When the title scream "Rage" came on I paused the episode, and googled it.

I think this season will end with the downfall of Gus. Next season will either be Walt trying to escape the cartel or him trying to adjust to life out of the drug world while trying to keep Hank off his trail.
I can't see Walt teaming with Hank. This series is about Walt breaking bad. It's about his spiral down into the drug world and how it changes it. A whole season can't be spent on Walt finding redemption by helping Hank. The only way it works is if Walt leads Hank down a dark path to help keep Walt safe from his criminal activities.

Hank Jr.'s car doesn't fit the timeline either.
I'm under the impression maybe it has caught up?

I think while Walt and Hank will eventually team up, but not sure how. Walt making $7.5mil a year... I wonder if Hank would be seduced by that. Will Walt and Hank be the next Gus and Mike? Granted Walt has none of the business savy that Gus posesses, so that might be not so likely as Walt just begging Hank for help to get out of the mess.
Alternatively, Walt just needs to arrange Gus and Mike to get killed and there is little other witness to Walt's involvement (video camera possibly).
I am not sure what would be a satisfying conclusion. Happy endings are too cliche. Maybe Walt just ends up dead as a bit of a morality lesson.

This is quickly turning into another great season. Just a fantastic episode tonight. Nothing else on TV really compares to Breaking Bad.

Breaking Bad wins the night. Unreal episode. The flashback scene was just amazing tv.
Love seeing Steven Bauer. He's aged quite a bit from his days as Manny. Very convincing as Don Heladio.

I think the real star of the episode was Jesse's sparkly shirt. Loved it.
Honestly, the flashback and the end with Gus essentially taunting the old guy, absolutely brilliant and chilling. Gus is ridiculous.
This season was a slow burn, but the last couple episodes show that it's on! Can't wait to see where it goes.
