music is more about the video today and good looks especially for females, I don't see her geting to Justin Bieber status, and I agree she isn't all that talented but she has looks and it should get her at least a CD, and with this exposure should get a music video played on MTV2 or MM

We must thoroughly crush such dreams for the benefit of future generations. Oh, to live in a world where "famous pop stars" no longer exist! It's but one small step to ruin this girl's life - but you have to start somewhere.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Ark Music Factory wrote the music and lyrics. They probably have a collection of poorly-written canned pop songs they can pull off the shelf for each new customer.
Probably, I actually think squirrels wrote the lyrics by smashing random word bricks together with their noses.
I thought it would have the Sesame Street writers....
"Yesterday was Thursday, tomorrow is Saturday, and after that it's Sunday..."
I was waiting for her to break out into the ole "one, two, three, four, five......six, seven, eight, nine, ten......eleven, twe el el el el el eh elve!"
I think you are getting trolled my friend... and I love the youtube comments:

"Gotta get down to the bus stop, gotta see my friends..." refers to watching your friends boarding the bus to go off to war. "kickin in the front seat, sittin in the back seat, gotta make up my mind, which seat I take." shows Dylan's conflict about the war. In one seat, he's for the war, but in the other seat he's against it. So he needs to make up his mind which seat to take. There are all sorts of references like this throughout the song. This is truly one of Dylan's finest works.
People have started sharing their inspirational stories about the song as well:

after my horrific genital motorbike accident in Chernobyl, i was told i would never be able to smile again, until that day during the great orphans strike when this song played over the radio in that hospital room shared with the other thirty badly mutilated patients, the only family i had left, the doctors claimed it was a miracle when we all stood together and held hands singing along to the inspirational lyrics, ever since i have waited for the day before Saturday, i thank god for this song

During boot camp in 1968 I met a great guy named Sam. We had a lot in common and he was the best friend I ever had. He had a radio and sometimes we'd listen to it and this song would come on. We both loved this song. When we finally were sent to 'Nam, we were in different parts of the country. We sent letters regularly, then I stopped hearing from him. I didn't find out until I came home, but Sam died on Friday, July 17, 1971. Every time I hear this song, I think of Sam. Love you brother.

This song saved my life.. it got me through my alcohol addiction back in 72....I had no friends and my wife had left me...friday was the day iŽd get drunk and violent with my children and wife so it really struck a chord with me the satirical way dylan approached that day cause iŽd never know which day it was and what day would follow, and when youre drunk its very hard to tell which seat you can take... its a reminder never to touch alcohol again and it always reminds me of that summer

How much money do you think she is making off of this?
I know there is youtube advertising revenue, but what else do you think she is getting?
For all this ridicule, I'd hope she'd be getting enough to get her college paid for.
At the end of the day, there is way too much negativity on a 13 year old over this.
The song has had over 2 million downloads on itunes, is number 39, and itunes gives 33 cents on the dollar. This is what I've heard, don't quote me, I'm sure someone can find the exact amount itunes gives out. But what her share of that is I have no clue, that's probably in the contract.
All I know is that the songwriter and producer are laughing all the way to the bank.
This was probably her dream, to be a famous pop star. Her parents as good parents do encourage her even though this girl isn't all that talented, and even do the really nice act of spending a chunk of money to help her achieve her dream.
And because of that, she's ridiculed, and hated on.

I stopped reading after this.
Seriously? What did she/her parents expect? A record deal?
I have no sympathy for dumb parents who splurge money on their kids on useless and trivial things like a music video. This song is on iTunes. I'm sure her parents made their money back and more. Which makes me even less sympathetic.
Without stupid parents the world would be so boring.
we really need to stop posting in this thread till Friday. I keep seeing it at the top of the page and all I can think about is how much fun, fun, fun, fun, I will have. But know this thread keeps appearing but thank goodness that the day before Friday is almost here, whatever day that is. I cant wait till Friday. Yeah!Yeah!Yeah!

She will apparently make 2 million by the weekend.
Seriously though. Even this thread has gone too far with the hate for this girl. I wish I could karaoke myself a cool 2 mill!

I wish my parents would have spent 2 grand to have me make a music video and record a song and then turn around and have 1-2 million dollars in a months time. Talk about a good investment in your childs future!
I think there was a link a couple pages back that said the million is an exaggeration, and that the song has made around $30K overall. After Ark takes their cut, that's not much left I would imagine. That's not worth it for all the ridicule. But who knows. Maybe this girl enjoys all the attention she's getting.
