Looks like Oklahoma State's bad play call on 3rd and 3 passing incomplete instead of running and eating up clock at the end didn't come back to bite them when they got the tipped INT to end a close one with a 1 minute left vs A&M.

Big Sky championship will go through Bozeman this year...and they've got a great shot at the National Championship.
Arizona State and Brock Osweiler taking the first large step to winning the PAC-12 south tonight...leading USC 28-22 with 16 minutes to play.

So, at this point LSU pretty much has to be #1 over OU, no?

Cats look good, the Griz got housed by Sac State tonight, not pretty.

It'll be hard to get OU out of that spot because they're going to continue beating teams by 20+. As an LSU fan, I'm happy staying in #2 until Nov 5 when they play Alabama. Winner of that game should be #1 assuming they're both still undefeated.

I agree with that, but it's such a joke. I hate the SEC, but even I can't deny that LSU deserves to be #1 over OU at this point...I hate that a team can maintain #1 because they happened to start the year there.
Doesn't really matter though, because OU's gonna lose to K-state and OSU...That's right, K-state.

Please see my above response... and I highly doubt we lost to Kstate... we have a better chance at shooting ourselves in the foot vs A&M or Tech. I just dont see OSU beating us. We have heard this for the last 3 years ... plus it is in Norman.
I will say LSU has a hell of a team. It should be OU vs them in the Natl title game. Another BCS title game where OKlahoma has to play a team that has the game in their backyard
2000 OU vs FSU in Miami
2004 OU vs LSU in New Orleans
2008 OU vs Florida in Miami

well it's not our fault that Oklahoma isn't a bowl game destination. Besides tickets for those games are equally distributed amongst the schools. Wasn't Oregon outnumbered last year by Auburn fans?

Utah has ASU at home on OCT 8th. That game will likely be for the South division championship. I'm worried about that game but being in Rice-Eccles will cause some problems for ASU. It will be really loud. Still haven't figured out Utah yet...I think they are good with potential to be great now that the QB is healing.

That's quite the cop out argument. Most teams don't play bowl games in their 'backyard' and the fans at those games, especially the NC game are very rarely a reflection of the geography.

I am waiting for the Mad-hatter's big mistake that costs them a game. I think Les Miles is a great coach and could be elite if he didn't blow it with one or two calls a season. I will say that it makes for exciting football.

What's the cop out I have been to 2/3 of those games and it was a home game for the opposing team. When we played LSU in New Orleans it was ridiculous in the dome. It was, what seemed like , 85% LSU Purple and yellow. Are you saying that home field advantage doesnt exist? I didnt say it was planned , I just pointed out it has worked out that way when OU gets to a title game.
Here we also played USC in '04 in Miami and we were absolutely embarrassed .....

When Florida played OSU in the Fiesta bowl on 06 we were outnumbered 8 to 1. That was basically a home game for them and that didnt help. When we played you in Miami OU was playing well but still lost but I'm sure being a 60/40 split made all the difference.

Tyrann Mathieu should get some consideration for the Heisman Trophy. That kid is unreal.
