Indian Wells:

Thursday 1st round: Ekaterina Makarova (RUS) vs Rebecca Marino (CAN) is the 5th match on Court 7. So we're looking at a night match, around 6PM MT or later.

The men's bottom half (Raonic) doesn't play until Friday.

Marino's court is backed up.. she probably won't get on until at least 8pm.

Mango's favourite Croatian Ivo Karlovic is into a 3rd set, so Marino now pushed back to 9pm.

woah i didn't even notice! my bad! they moved marino to Court 4!

She lost the first set, won the 2nd but is now down a break in the 3rd

She had triple break point twice in the 3dr set to get back even but failed to convert either of them

For her efforts, Marino makes $7050 and gains 35 WTA Points.

never tried it..

There's a marquee doubles match on the Stadium Court now.
Doubles on the main court! involving Nestor!

Might have to do with his swiss opponents.. couple guys named Federer and Wawrinka

Edit: wow! Nestor/Mirnyi, one of the best doubles teams in the world, got destroyed 6-1- 6-2 by a couple of singles mugs :P

I was watching BBC and they said that after last nights win, Raonic is now projected ranked #32 in the world. He has passed some players who had their 2010 Indian Wells results drop off.

For example, defending champ and 16th ranked Ljubicic is defending 1000 points and plays Del Potro tonight. If he loses he'll drop all the way down to 40th.

Ferrer doesn't lose any points though as he lost in this same round last year.

Ljubicic won the first set over Del Potro.

The tournament you talked about was next week in Miami where they are not giving Karlovic a WC into the qualifying and he was pissed on twitter. So he just gave them an FU! I will check his twitter again later

Ljubicic is such a smart player. I could still see him playing a couple of years. You'd never tell his age by the way he plays.

Karlo is fun to follow on Twitter. He's got a pretty good sense of humor

Raonic v Fish is the 2nd evening match on Stadium 2 so we're looking at around 7pm MT.
Should be on Sportsnet ONE as they have a timeblock of tennis from 2pm to 10pm!

I was watching the feed this morning. There were some uncharacteristic unforced errors. Gotta love that ranking system!

It was on the sportsnet website. Not sure what they're showing. I watched a bit earlier and they were showing Isner tape delayed a couple of hours.

Stadium 2 is late anyways, the Jankovic match scheduled for 5:30 MT isn't on court yet.
So I don't know.. Raonic at 8pmish?
