Redemption Island is so gay. What was the challenge last night? Shuffleboard... wow thats quality tv.
110% agree on that; what happened to Survivor? Almost every challenge this season has been completely pathetic; I have forgot the last time they made the Survivors actually swim during a challenge.
I don't know if it's an insurance risk or something, but Survivor is just not what it once was.
Next week they will probably have Survivor Foosball 2 on 2 to decide which two on RI will go home. Then the week after that it will be air hockey to determine who gets back in the game.
Absolutely pathetic; I will be pissed when Rob is voted out, as he is the only reason to watch this season anymore.

I can't remember where I heard it (although I think it was through his Twitter), but Probst said they couldn't do any water challenges this season because the ocean was too rough, or something to that effect. I agree that they need more physical challenges. It looks like next week I get my wish.
Accidentally read a posting where the final three may have been named. While spoilers for this year haven't been correct, just a word of warning that the final three might be a combination of Natalie, Ashley, Andrea, and/or Matt. Basically means prepare to be letdown the next few weeks if the spoilers hold true.
I'm convinced CBS and the producers while filming knew the show was getting slow around this point in the game and quickly threw a curveball with that double elimination episode this past week. They knew if they didn't, then they would have next week's episode be another long and drawn out one with Steve being the victim. So they wanted to kill two birds with one stone since it's pretty clear that 6 Ometepe alliance was not going to crack.
The show will get interesting from here. I hope they RI person doesnt get put back in next week, but he will just be easy pickings for the Ometepes. The alliance needs to crack for the show to get very interesting, and it needs to happen very soon.
The show has been pretty average since the second Matt blindside. The damn alliance is just very loyal and that doesn't make for great tv. If you went back and watched Season One, it's almost the same thing. The alliance of Rich, Sue, Kelly, Rudy and Sean(IIRC) just dominated and the voting was never interesting until the end.
I think the women will gang themselves into an alliance and vote out Rob or Grant the next episode.
I'm actually shocked that Grant has allowed Rob to dominate the way he has....we will see now who has the biggest cajones, and its likely to be the women, again.

I truly dont believe any of those girls are bright enough to make that move. Andrea might, but she is probably a little scared to even utter the idea to anyone.
I also think the girls might be a little scared, if they vote Rob out and blindside him he doesn't go home, he goes to R I.
Rob has done a good job of putting the "fear of the lord!" into these girls for lack of a better term..

ya I dont see them doing anything, I think if anyone makes a move it is rob or grant
I think if there wasn't a redemption island that Rob all ready would have gotten rid of grant but he knows if he sends him there he will probly come back
And about time, the last 2-3 episodes have been terribly boring as Zapaterra got picked off. If Phillip wasnt crazy the episodes would have been hard to watch.
Another fairly boring episode. Has anyone who has given up their reward (ie. visit with family/friends) ever gone on to win the show? I really can't remember. I thought it was kind of silly, nobody is going to give the guy a million bucks for that.
And between Matt and Mike it appears as though god is watching a whole bunch of Survivor this season. You think he would at least spice up the show with a monsoon or hurricane or something.

Mike trying to justify giving up the loved ones crap with the God reasoning was laughable.
That challenege looked like one of the most gruelling challenges in a long time. A challenge that I would never want to be a part of. I hate stairs!!
The vote was predictable but I always love seeing the reaction of the person being blind sided and Andrea's reaction was great.
I have a hard time not seeing Rob win this game. He has played a near perfect game IMO and hasn't pissed that many people off. It's all a matter of putting people in the final 3 that he can beat. I think he has to take Phillip and Natalie or Andrea(should she come back).
