Haven't been to as many Wranglers games this season as I would've liked but man has Kerins ever been good in the games I've seen. The Zary comp is apt. He also reminds me a bit of a bigger Phillips with some of the moves he's willing (and able) to make. Really like him.

I thought Kerins was one of the more impressive prospects in the system in juniors. He really stuck out to me. So I was equally surprised when he couldn't cut it in his first crack at the pro level and was sent down to the ECHL. It's good to see he just needed a gentler development path to find his footing and now is back to being the sort of player he was looking like after getting drafted.

I think Kerins couldn’t crack it because he was not in shape. Cull said he sat the first month this year to get in shape
