Haha, and Barnet Flame thought it would be Liverpool providing the entertainment this season.

After the Spurs game I could swear a commentator confirmed Scott Parker to the Spurs (as per Big Sam). Haven't heard anything else, is this just English media hot air or is there some substance to it?

He said it should be done in the next 24 hours, Parker was left out of the West Ham lineup
guessing the fee is agreed now it's just contract, and some spurs players are likely going on loan to West Ham

Arsenal is above the relegation line, and Spurs are still looking up at them from the cellar. Good day overall...

Has anyone tried out premierleaguelive.tv this season? Whether I subscribe to Setanta or to the live online service, my top priority will be watching Norwich (preferably live). While I enjoy Setanta's content, I realistically can't watch all 10 Premier League matches each week and the Sportsnet/TSN coverage provides me with plenty of hours of viewing as it is.
I am curious to hear from anyone who is currently a subscriber to hear whether or not you're happy with the service. It also appears that Shaw and Setanta are no closer to striking a deal to provide the channel in HD, which is disappointing.

i would wait to see what Sportsnet is going to do with the rebranding of Setanta to Sportsnet International in October (i think its October)
In other news Owen Hargreaves might be about to sign with Villa

Good point. I'll be taking it month-to-month, so whether it be Setanta or the online live service, I won't get myself into anything long term. Merely a stop-gap measure to get me from the end of the free preview until HD is an option for Shaw customers for Setanta or the new Sportsnet re-branded channel.

In addition to having to watch our team concede 8 goals, the fans sang "We Love You Arsenal" for about 15 minutes straight. With our notoriously quiet fans that itself is worthy of reward.

Guardian saying Mertesacker to Arsenal for 10m is close
think thats a bad signing, he's too slow for the PL

that likely means Cahill to somewhere else, and its the last year of his contract so he will move, possibly liverpool or spurs
Hargreaves to Man City as well, I don't like that at all, United stuck by him through his injuries for years and he turns around and goes to their rivals

will be tons of rumors between now and tomorrow, a couple that are going around
Stoke are close to getting Lukaku on loan from Chelsea for the year
Sunderland are going after Crouch
Spurs are offering Sebastien Bassong + cash for Gary Cahill (would be fantastic)
Newcastle sign Davide Santon (great signing)

Apparently the premier league has rubbished the possibility of a lukaku move due to some existing regulation.
Cahill will be going somewhere and it won't be Arsenal. Gartside chose to make the bids public when he could have just rejected it/them leading me to believe they wanted a bidding war and don't want to lose him next year for nothing. He would be a great signing for spurs.
