Just so everyone knows, I nuked kermit yesterday. I had a bit of guilt about it but that faded quickly.

The iPhone has a couple ways to determine your location. In some cases it falls back to your IP address and looks up the location of it in a database. So it could be that you did not have GPS and the WIFI you were on was linked to an Atlanta IP.
