I wonder if tbe Flames will sign Joly to a PTO just to see at least where he’s at development wise compared with other pros?
He seems to be a bean pole, so maybe the Flames won’t want to have him compete against men yet? Just a thought.

Most likely they will sign him to an ATO with the Heat. Maybe they won't play him in any of their renaming games, but he can practice with the team and get some experience.

Pats win game 6 7-2. Gawdin with 1a -1 5sog.
Game 7 is on Monday and potentially last game of Gawdin's WHL career.
Chiefs are currently in OT of game 5. They trail in the series 3-1. If they lose Fischer's WHL career is over.
edit: Yamamoto scores in OT to force Game 6.
Royals trail 4-1 in the 3rd period of game 5. Phillips with Vic's only goal.
Series is tied 2-2.

Royals end up losing 5-3. Phillips with 1g+2a. He has 5gp 2g 7a 9pts -1 in the playoffs
Vancouver leads the series 3-2. Game 6 is Monday and potentially the last of Phillips' WHL career.
So Monday Phillips, Gawdin, and Fischer are all playing in elimination games.

Phillips had a highlight reel goal yesterday, was at the game. Was by far the best player on the ice but the Royals are just far too injury ridden.

Phillips with 2 goals and an assist in game 6, game is now heading into OT. Phillips got Victoria a 3-1 lead but the Royals goalie gives up 2 softies. Phillips second goal was another beauty, the series has basically been Phillips vs Vancouver. 4 goals 8 assists for 12 pts in 6 games.
Another awesome year for Phillips, he has NHL skill but the questions about his size will remain. Definitely a dark horse in our prospect pool, excited to see how he will do in the AHL next year.
edit: Royals win in OT! Phillips with another assist for 2g 2a in game 6. Make that 13 pts in 6 games for him.

Victoria Royals eliminate Vancouver giants by a score of 4-3 in Game 7.
Phillips had 2g+1a
In the 7 game series had 6g + 10a
Royals will face the Americans in the 2nd round so we will see some Phillips vs Valimaki action.
Also the Chiefs were eliminated so expect to see Fischer going pro.

Fischer needs to be far more disciplined (amongst other things) in order to be successful at the next level. Takes stupid, often untimely penalties, far too often.
