Yeah. No ace is a big reason I hope they can avoid the wild card round - best of 3 means 1 dominant starting pitching performance can win half the series.
In a longer series the Blue Jays better depth has a chance to shine.

Sigh. A real reality check so far with this series.

Heineman isn’t nearly as good at framing as Kirk is.

But I feel those two have most upside. Seattle tigers nyy probably better starters than us in playoff foemaf.

Not sure with Manoah, not 100% sure he will be an impact player at all

I am irrationally annoyed by Heineken
When you are a part time player you need to be great at the basic things like framing pitches

Going from timely hitting and solid fundamentals over the past couple of months to this junk is causing some whiplash.

I’m happy that Buck is back and is feeling well. Unfortunately, as a colour guy, he brings a lot less insight than Siddall or Joseph (who actually surprised me with how good he was in the role). Buck relies a lot on “in my day” nostalgia without really understanding why things are different today than they were 40-50 years ago. It would be awesome if they could bring Siddall or Joseph along with Buck and Dan.

Wow. Those pitches were just begging to be crushed. Great job by Vlad and Barger for punishing him!

That bunt in front of Ohtani is just dumb. Give an out and take the bat out of his hands

Hoffman sucks.
Knew this was coming the second Rodriquez walked the 8 hitter to lead off the inning.
Jays are in trouble in the playoffs with pitching like this.

That entire inning shows how much a leadoff walk can completely derail an inning.
Need to make sure that we don’t repeat that in the bottom of the ninth. Ernie came up huge and let’s bring it home.

5 walks. What a clown. Barring a miracle Hoffman blew that game twice. He's just not a good closer. Need to drop him down to a 7th or 8th inning guy.
