Same thing happened when I corrected a poster for saying that Tkachuck is a much better skater than Huberdeau, which is completely false.


Next thing I see people claiming that I said he is a horrible skater (which I never said, he is average in my opinion) or that he is not great player (I said the exact opposite that he IS a great player). In fact, when the deal went down I said that it's a really good deal for Calgary.

I personally was being very intellectually honest when I looked up the birth dates, made the quick calculation, and then showed that you rounded up on two players and down on another to fit your argument.

You're tripling down (may be quadrupling) doesn't change any of that.

None of that came off very well from anyone, lol. We just had two posters confidently describe how much money they make and how amazing they are as the grand finale to an argument already off the rails in absurdity.

I agree with others though, I want more of that. It's fun to read during the offseason. Doesn't look like we'll get much happening with our new pick ups until late August anyways.

The age thing was my favourite, personally. Poster clearly rounds up and down in different directions to support the narrative he's pushing, gets a quick, innocent correction from Bingo and goes off the rails for 4 pages of defence against everyone.
