One of the things I really miss about living in the Okanagan. I remember playing in the rain all the time as a kid, but my kids can't do that here without getting hypothermia
Omg, it's not that bad, lol. Our "cold" rainy days are typically 11-15 degrees.

I love the heat, I'm your classic sundog, and I'm loving this weather. Feels like we skipped over it completely last month and just jumped straight to July. We badly need the moisture (I'm officially old saying that) and we all know the way this spring/summer is trending, this cold spell won't last.
It'll be above 25 and endless sun again before you know it, enjoy the rain while we have it (obviously different for those in flooded areas, really hoping that doesn't happen).
Heat sucks balls. This rules. Cruising around in a hoodie during the day. My room was, like, 10 degrees last night and I was so cozy under my covers. I wouldn't want rain all the time, but a nice mix of rain (like this) and then some days between 17 and 21 degrees is the best.

Today's rain was much needed and welcome. Same goes for the cooler weather as I was able to open all the windows and cool down the house.
