It still astounds me that a team can think it is competitive for the playoffs but has literally no starting or bullpen pitching depth in triple A. Putting faith in Merryweather and Pearson to be counted on is not good.

I was really confused when I heard Hatch was going to be the starter today.
He's been a tire fire in AAA this season. Well here we are....
I thought Castillo was going to be the extra starter for the double header, but I guess some genius figured he'd be better in the pen and "hey, lets see what Hatch can do against better hitters than the hitters who have been caving his face in all season"
Brilliant ####ing strategy you morons.
