You know, I thought RBA played quite well in that first set so it has to be a little depressing to see 6-2 Djokovic on the scoreboard.

RBA takes set 2 6-4 with a little help from the net cord. Novak's level certainly dropped in that second set, but RBA played some rock solid tennis.

If Schnur wins this next match today, he will crack the top 100 for the first time in his career. What a season thus far.

I think that break point was essentially match point. Hard to think Djoker doesn't hold serve the rest of the way.

Yeah these are pretty clearly the slowest grass courts we've seen in a while. Been a lot of long rallies this tournament.

British oddsmakers are slightly favoring Rafa over Roger and the slow court conditions are likely tipping the scales.

guys I don't think there's been enough highlights shown from the 2008 final, maybe they could just replay that one entirely instead of showing today's match?
honestly though, I think both 2019 versions beat their 2008 counterparts maybe 80% of the time. other than possibly stamina, both have improved nearly every facet of their games since then...serve, movement, backhand, volleying, tactics. imagine saying that 11 years ago and how absurd it would have been.

Short games and short rallies this favors Federer. Nadal needs to slow things down and try to wear him down.

UFE's on critical break points, I've definitely never seen this movie before.

Are you suggesting more ass picking by Rafa?

I mean the match hasn't been that enthralling, but reading a book is hilarious.
