I’ve provided what I consider to be some pretty accurate information. Today was the first day that I anticipated a trade involving Coleman.

There hasn’t been a single trade of consequence made across the league yet.

Clearly pretty much all teams are waiting. Flames have offers on the table. They’ve also had them last week when I first reported.

Doesn’t discount the info shared by other posters on this board. which I believe to be much more accurate than the likes of EF, Dreger, Seravelli etc. Those guys are the problem.
Well, now that you mention it can we tap into Conroy's five phones? Maybe people who complain about rumors and speculation should be banned from this thread. We can start a thread of just facts and hand-drawn art.

Not by me.

If even I don't complain about or mind the gifs, then no one should care about them!

Wut? Royle is awesome.

I think the other guys are loosely connected at best though.

Some of my poorly educated guesses have been more accurate than their pre-trade speculations.

Enjoy the week because after the deadline there’s not too much left as far as NHL hockey left to enjoy as flames fans this year. Hope for losses, look forward to some youth getting prolonged looks etc; but for now just enjoy this week. The chips will fall where they will fall come Friday, no sense in mudding up this thread with complaints of what you don’t like in terms of posts.

Here’s also hoping the Flames clean up, I have a feeling we are going to do quite well thanks to GM CC and his fastidious patience for teams to meet his price. No more Mr nice guy, you love to see it!

What about that guy who claimed to have a connection in the flames dressing room and that Kadri was being sat out.

I am not even sure why some are complaining. It's not like every other team is making trades except the Flames. I'll be more worried if its status quo going into Friday, as it means more work in less time.

I am kind of expecting something right out of left field like the Penguins making a splash.

Not that I think they should totally abandon their rebuilding course, but with Crosby, Malkin, Karlsson, and Letang not getting any younger, this could be their last kick at the can for a while. They have a whack load of cap space as well.

They also have a tonne of draft capital including all their 1sts and thirteen 2nd rounders over the next 3 drafts. If I were them, I might trade the 2026 1st and maybe a 2nd to take a run at it.

They have not. I went back and counted and out of the last 200 posts there have been 3 posts that could be considered negative towards “insiders.”

Lots of defending insiders though. And lots of bad jokes

I mean hell, we’ve had more posts in the trades/rumours thread about the grief of losing a parent than we have criticizing gifs/insiders.

Still I don’t think any of the three posts were directed at you were they?

I've mentioned this before but I believe we're getting information earlier than even the network insiders are. The reason they get all the confirmations is mostly because those are the ones that cross the finish line.

I suppose those that want to doubt can and will do so, but I choose to believe that there are people who are tapped in much more than I am, and have been kindly choosing to reveal what they can, when they can, to other rabid followers of a local hockey team.

If it makes everyone feel better, we can audit the accuracy of the insiders after the deadline. We'll convene a panel. It'll be great and take all the fun and whimsy out of everything for as many people as possible.

The idea of Kadri to Tampa is interesting. Tampa is definitely all in with an aging lineup and with them having a great season they likely see the time as now. Obviously Calgary would have to retain on a deal to make it happen so.

2026 3rd (from Van)

Actually i'm down with the audit idea. No enjoyment will be lost!

Prove that you were at least in the ballpark and we can blue checkmark your insider status. No more groaning about who is or isn't in the know.

You got to get used to edging when it comes to deals. Much better pay off at the end.

I want to hear recordings of Conroy talking on all 5 phones at the same time, or it didn't happen.
