It's the rumors and speculation thread and I feel a few posters miss the point. Insiders are posting rumors.
Are the real or not real? It doesn't matter because they're rumors, neither real or not real, just things they've heard.

Stuff like Sec, Royle, and dissentowner is why this site can be fun. Unfortunately I find I can visit sports message boards less and less on a regular basis because way too many folks are way too negative about a team that they are supposed to like, and it's just a less fun way to spend your time.
But what else do we have this year than hopeful trade speculation? I appreciate the fun of it just for the mental exercise and trying to figure out what might be happening. If this stuff REALLY bothers you, in a way I envy you - you must not have very many real problems.

I have no problem with the gifs. I find when one person makes a complaint about them though, the next 10 posts are people upset that some people don't like the gifs and start venting.
If you just ignore the post you dont like instead, nothing happens and life goes on.

Back in ky day, we didn't have these new fandangled gifs. We'd have to talk to strangers and decipher if it meant a trade was coming or if they just wanted to kidnap us.

If we keep the anti-anti gif complaints going for a couple more pages, then people who log in will think they've missed lots of exciting trade rumours. And when they scroll through their unread posts they'll see it's all just gif-talk, so the joke will be on them!
