That's already been mentioned. Again, so what? At 2-2 it's a whole new ball game as they say. The English may have gone in at the half simply happy and feeling lucky to be tied. Changes could have 'possibly' be made to the defensive unit. Trailing meant they pushed way too hard too fast and were completely caught out. We'll never know what could have happened at 2-2 because of a huge error by the officials.

Just for the record, I think that England were garbage, brutal. Germany was the better team. That doesn't change a thing however.

Just stating a fact that the Germans scored 4 goals. Even if that goal would of counted the germans would of still won by two. Now get your panties out of your butt and quit being so butt hurt about it.

Cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.

That's great, but you quoted a comment regarding 1966 and replied to it incorrectly.

Quit being an obvious troll.

I'm not trying to get a rise out of any of you. I can care less what you think.

I'm sorry I quoted something about 1966. Wooopie doo.

You English supporters are pathetic and sore losers. Christ almighty.

You could pretty easily use computer technology to call offsides.

just earlier today the game was 4-1 so if you add that goal into the English side that would make it 4-2. Now you can complain and say " waaa waa we wouldn't have to push so hard for the 2nd goal" or how about not falling behind in the first place?

Doesn't matter, England would of lost in free kicks if the Germans didn't score two more times.

Why don't they actually have a goal judge? Some lazy fat guy that sits behind the net the whole game?

But I guess I will get gangbanged by all the english supporters.

Sore loser? Nah. Actually I believe that I've stated that Germany was the better team. I've even said that I believe that that young team have a great future ahead of them. I've also said, multiple times, that England were garbage, tactics were not good, Capello made mistakes etc. etc.

That doesn't change anything about the disallowed goal. If it happened the other way around I'd still be calling for change and that it was an injustice.

You're having as good a day as the officials today.

Really?
I'm a neutral, but your ability to know in certainty what would have happened in hypothetical situations is amazing.

England fans are notoriously bitter and full of excuses, it's part of the national identity. But to deny to the fact that a 2-2 tie after 45 minutes would have changed the entire game and how both teams approached the second half shows you either are a blind homer, or have no understanding of sport whatsoever.

The English (non)goal I can see having the incorrect call being made. The official simply didn't have a good angle on that even though he was in the correct position. I think he happened to be at an angle where he simply couldn't look through the post and see the ball across the line (no excuse for the head official though!).

The Argentine goal was simply just terrible. Not even close and obviously offside. You can't have that error and the missed call on the English goal in the round of 16 (or anytime in this tournament).

I'm saying you got hosed! plain and simple. That was a goal. Now we have to hear English fans complain and moan about this disallowed goal. This shouldn't be an issue. This is the biggest event in the world and they can't even have a fairly called game with all the diving and bad goals.

Lookie there the Argentinian players starting another fight.

The first two can be solved by better refs. I would even support a two ref system so they can cover more of the field.

That offside goal for Tevez is just ridiculous. When the ball rebounds out like that the shoot must score directly. Any touch will always be offside, the linesman must know that. Remember, not only one Mexican has to be behind the ball, TWO of them have to be back for the play to be onside cause the keeper is out of the equation.

I don't mind salary control but that's just me. I like megateam playing megateam.

Aside: those Argentina blue shorts look terrible. They should be black to match the black numbering on the jersey.

A two ref system would be nice. One controls each side of the field. Hell just having goal judges would be nice.

I believe they're trying that in the Europa League this upcoming season.
Having a goal judge off to the side.

Either that or just use a damn tv screen that since the refs use headphones someone can just as easy tell them that it's either a goal or no goal. Not that hard. We already have extra time so whats another 20 seconds?
