My unexciting guesses at this point:
Kadri (20% retained) to Colorado for 2027 1st + 2027 2nd + Colton
Coleman to Dallas for 2027 2nd + Hemming
Pachal to Buffalo for 2026 3rd
No home runs but decent returns and players end up where everyone has long expected them to eventually go (except for Pachal).
My exciting guesses at this point:
Kadri (50% retained) to Detroit for 2026 1st + 2026 2nd + conditional 2027 2nd (becomes a 1st if Detroit makes it to the 2nd round in 2027) + B-level prospect
Coleman to Tampa for O’Reilly
Whitecloud + Posposil + 2nd + 3rd to Buffalo for Helenius + 2026 1st
All big swings.

I think that's more than we'll get for each of those trades.

I mentioned it the other day in a GDT, but Pospisil has lost his foot speed this year. He was top 10 last season in max speed, and this year he is below average. That's a drastic drop. Are his fancy stats good this year?

For those worried we have missed out on something by not dealing Kadri or Coleman yet; A first round pick hasn't been traded for a forward since last trade deadline (Rantanen). All the 1st rounders since then have been part of deals for defenseman.

Frost has one point in one month. A second assist on a PP.

I actually couldn’t say if his fancy stats are good this year, I just going on generalities lol.

I am not in a hurry to trade Kadri and Coleman. Any time before the deadline is fine. This is for this simple reason that its the only meaningful hockey talk we will have until the draft.

These guys like Frost on the Flames would be a hard sell given anyone shopping would most likely have someone better in place already. This is why it's imperative that CC gets one of Coleman/Kadri out the door before the deadline. I would like to see Hanley/Whitecloud moved as well.
This is as much about further stockpiling assets as it is ensuring the team doesn't take itself out of top 4/5 of the draft contention by simply outplaying the rest of the bottom teams who are stripping it right down.

I mean, that is only 5 games including last night. 2 before the Olympic break, and 3 since.

He's played less than 10 games this year, so his stats including fancy and skating speed are misleading at this point.

He's only played nine games after missing a significant amount of time, and he's hurt coming back from the Olympics. I'd be more worried about his general health than foot speed. If he's healthy and gets the game condition back I think his skating would be fine
