Is it a bad thing that I've spent very little time off my couch this afternoon?

It would suck to carry around that sack all day though. But a great place for candy.

Watched Taken last night after the game.
Very good movie if you think justice is more important than the letter of the law.

Palm Springs real estate is priced a little higher because its Palm Springs. You're paying for the zip code. If you look very nearby in Rancho Mirage or Palm Desert (I'd avoid Cathedral City) you can probably find better deals and the same quality of living.
I think the prices in California have bottomed out so I doubt you'd by property and have the value drop. Like Awildermode mentioned, loan approval is a bit of a challenge, lenders are doing the due dligence they should have done before the foreclosure crisis kicked in, so it delays the process a little bit. As long as you have good credit and good debt to income ratios, you can get a loan. It just won't fund in ten days anymore.

I've been waivering on this... I'm not sure I'd want to invest in California, depending on which part. Certainly not a city like Fresno thats for sure.

Fresno, Visalia, Modesto, Bakersfield, yeah, avoid that. I'd avoid the entire Southern half of the Central Valley.

But do you really need a purse that big? What the hell are you carrying in it?

Laundry Question:
I have:
1 pair black dress pants
1 black dress shirt
1 pair dark gray dress pants
All of them are brand new, never been washed nor worn. Can I was them all together? Or should I separate all or some of the pieces?
I plan on doing so in cold water with a bit a detergent.

What kind of fabric? If they are wool, send them to the dry cleaner.

They are all 100% cotton.
I just read the tags, and all but the black dress pants ask for machine wash warm. I have never washed anything on warm setting. Does it really matter.
I usually do all my clothes on cold because I was told they will shrink less then.

If they are cotton, then you can just put them all in together on cold, gentle cycle.

I'd throw them all in together, inside out, on cold. Maybe hang to dry if you'd concerned about shrinkage.

And also, don't wash anything unless it is absolutely necessary. Hanging it up for a few days will let it air out.

Thanks for the help.
I'm actually washing them to cause shrinking. I'll take them to the tailor tomorrow.
Just looking to save time/money and only do one load.
