They say the 2-0 lead is the toughest lead in hockey, in this case Dallas didn't just mail in game 4, they mailed in the rest of the series.

Ya it's wild, they rarely ever even try to make plays from their zone. If you watch any other series the teams are constantly back and forth through the neutral zone with east west action. The Oilers have no problem just sitting back, plugging up the shooting lanes and waiting to get it out - then watch McDavid skate it up the ice. It's the 2024 version of the neutral zone trap.

He just looks checked out. When they were getting creamed in Game 5 they didn't rough up any Oilers. He just gave up.

He looks more like Jordie Benn in this series.

You’re welcome. Literally 15 seconds after i posted about the shutout. Doesn’t mean anything, but it’s nice to feel like it did.
