I hope Game Stop created a trading department. Probably make more from playing the swings on their own stock than selling games this year.
I know this was likely a joke but there are a significant amount of securities regulations that restrict the trading of ones own stock. Unfortunately for the company this kind of volatility is not a good thing.

It was a joke, but in truth the SEC is probably too busy going after retail traders for GME for the 8 people that work there to bother looking at the companies themselves.
Well give credit to anyone left bag holding over $300 on the first run, if they held they are golden. Now hopefully they learned a good lesson on when not to buy.
That was a wild tank on $GME earlier today; heard their was a large buy of ours one hour before. Wouldn’t be surprised if the hedge funds are behind the dump and rise, cashing out both ways.

Is the available float that small that a hedge fund can make it move like that?
It's absolutely fascinating to watch the price action. Defies any sort of conventional logic.

Finviz is showing a float of 54.16M, seems easily doable for a large hedge fund and yes it is pretty fascinating to watch. It looks like $AMC and $GME basically tanked around the same time.
