Yeah - this England team may not have created a ton but damn have they been clinical in making sure they take those chances when they come.
What a free kick.

Man fouls like that should be for sure a yellow.

LOL Sterling should've known better than to pass to Kane that offside.

That's as clear a yellow as they come. Zero attempt to play the ball and focused on stopping the man

As to be expected with giving up an early goal this game has become insufferable and it's knob slobbering of England

Pickford trying to be too clever with the ball, seems so unnecessary and risky.

lol, the fact that neither Lovren nor Rebic have been booked is a freaking joke.
Great game by England so far. Should have scored at least one more.

England looking good, while Croatia still look like they're missing that extra gear that they should have.
The English commentators on the ITV feed I've got have abandoned all pretense of neutrality.

Croatia are going to need to try and drag another game to penalties. One wonders if they have the energy after all this extra soccer they’ve played to really push in the second half. Never count out England though, they still have Ashley Young out there.

Croatia also have Dejan Lovren, always good for a boneheaded mistake or a moment of magic. You just never know which.

As I suspected, neither of these teams are any threat to France in open play, the France midfield will tear them both apart. France basically just have to avoid conceding set pieces and they will roll Sunday.

Let’s see if Croatia can regroup at the half.
England seem comfortable so far and Kane probably should have finished that chance in the 30th minute to put them up 2-0.
Still think that Croatias midfield should take over this game but as ResAlien said playing back to back games that go to PKs is pretty draining - they may be running out of energy.

Croatia should bring on Kramaric as he was their most creative player against Russia. They were sorely lacking in creativity in the first half

These repetitive chants by the English fans are on par with vuvuzelas

That is every game though really - even France hasn't generated a ton from open play the last two games and have been able to get through because of their CB's scoring from set pieces. Really vs. Argentina was the only game where they were dangerous from open play - and that team's defending was a disaster in that game.
With the way this World Cup has been it's probably going to be a set piece that decides who wins in the finals.

If Croatia can't get anything going I don't see any when posing any threat to France. And if Croatia somehow gets through they will also be decimated by a superior team.
