That's a heavy ass bag for one guy to load up and shift quietly.
9 handguns and a crowbar in a bag. 3 long rifles under an arm. Can't be that heavy.

And how lucky that the alarm happened to be off as well! I mean it's almost like the thief knew that there'd be no alarm on and the manager would be out back minding his own business counting a wad of fifties from a brown envelope he found on the mat.
Yeah...this is the most interesting part of it all, to me.

Yeah...this is the most interesting part of it all, to me.
9 handguns at a pound and half or so each plus another 10 pounds for the rifles and crowbar, that's 25 or thirty pounds, now obviously that's not beyond most guys to lift, but quietly and quickly that's another matter.

Quietly may be an issue, but quickly certainly wouldn't be.

Well another day....

http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/22/us/ohi...nty/index.html

From the article I read it as if the shooter targeted and killed 7 members of the same family then killed them self as they are not considering it "an active shooting".

well that seems weird, CBC is saying he is still at large and that anyone in that family should be taking extra precaution tonight.

Well if he/she isn't caught yet, I hope this manhunt doesn't last long.

This goes beyond a gun problem or a mental health problem. This is an America problem. That country has lung cancer and it's arguing over Propecia.

Sounds like the shooter(s) are still at large in the Ohio shooting. Reporting 8 dead now, 7 adults and 1 teenager.

NRA Logic - Mass shootings are a small price to pay, for the freedom to commit mass shootings.

Looks like the Ohio shootings last week could be related to drugs.

I think it will be very interesting to follow this story as we learn more about what happened.

I've been watching CNN this morning and it sounds like that shooting is a very interesting case. It seems like there isn't any certainty as to whether there was a single shooter or multiple shooters. Pretty crazy situation.

Love this quote from one of the police officers:
Quote:
"If you are fearful, arm yourself."
This is interesting. How can that be what people should be doing, to arm themselves to protect their families? I would get out of town for a bit before I would arm myself. I guess I haven't been in that situation before so maybe I don't know.

I know this isn't mass shooting, but the actual GZ thread is almost a year old, so thought this would fit in nicely here.

George Zimmerman has listed the gun with which he killed Trayvon Martin in 2012 for auction, touting it as “your opportunity to own a piece of American history”.
Zimmerman listed “the firearm that was used to defend my life and end the brutal attack from Trayvon Martin” on GunBroker.com on Thursday, with bidding scheduled to begin at 11am EDT on Thursday.
He wrote in the item description that it had recently been returned to him by the Department of Justice and was fully functional.
“Many have expressed interest in owning and displaying the firearm including the Smithsonian museum in Washington D.C. This is a piece of American history. It has been featured in several publications and in current university text books. Offers to purchase the firearm have been received; however, the offers were to use the gun in a fashion I did not feel comfortable with.”

classy.

^ bless America......while I have never been tot eh Smithsonian (I do read their magazine on occasion though), I am trying to wrap my head around seeing a Zimmerman exhibit or how a gun would really tie into something to do with even a more broad category like civil liberties....
