haha nope. I'm not a skinny clucker, but am definitely not fat, or getting there.
I actually think I've lost a bit of weight in the last little while.
The funny thing about my pants is that I actually bought two pairs. They are exactly the same except for the colour. One pair fits perfectly, the other, as already mentioned, fits a lil snug.
They are 33 waist. I tried on a 34 and they were way too big, looked like clown pants.

I live alone
I live alone and like it
Some people live alone
live alone and look it
But I’m on the roam
And I like it
I've never had roommates, only girlfriends, and I've found I cannot live with a woman for more than a couple years before going mental.
Things I like: sleeping in, not making plans, not making the bed, wearing no pants, playing video games until the wee hours of the morning, not visiting the "in-laws", not shaving on the weekends, not watching crappy television, not "talking about where our relationship is going", not eating at a set time every day, not cutting my hair if I don't feel like it, and so on.
Things I dislike: Uhh....
Am I just irresponsible and immature? Maybe, but I've already tried being "responsible", and it just makes me miserable.

Ya know I was wondering how long before there would be a Platinum Blonde lyric quoted in here. Apparently my wait is over.

My lameness in quoting Platinum Blonde is equalled only by your dorkiness in knowing I was quoting them - welcome to loserville, population us!

Situation Critical!
We need to head to alien shores or else we'll be standing in the dark. Then again, it doesn't really matter.

Where am I being dishonest? Shallow, ok, you might have me there - but I'm not going to make up some deep cosmic justification for being self-centred, although I'm certain I could and make it sound plausible.
There's five kinds of people: those who can't live alone or with someone else; those who can't live alone and have to live with someone else, no matter how unsuitable; those who don't want to live alone but are particular about who they do live with; those who want to live alone but live with someone else to conform to expectations; and those who want to live alone and do just that.
If you aren't in the last group, then I could spend all night coming up with reasons why living alone is great, but it would affect your behaviour not one bit - so why go there?

I wasn't trying to dismiss you as being self-centered, I apologize if I came off that way. I'm not really trying to judge people who live on their own, I'm just curious about the experience.

I'm calling myself self-centred, you didn't say anything of the sort so need to apologize. I'm not sure what I can tell you about the experience, except that if you are not good at being self-sufficient, you'll either learn or very bad things will happen to you. It's one of those things you have to experience to know what it's like - some people can't handle the "loneliness", some people thrive on it.

Why do people have Halloween parties a week before Halloween?

That does seem especially weird this year with Halloween falling on a Saturday. I could understand using the weekend before if Halloween falls on a Mon-Thu.

I'm going to California for 10 days starting tomorrow! I haven't had a vacation in, uh, A COUPLE MONTHS!
You are permitted to feel jealous, unless of course you're HOOT and you already live a life of uninterrupted leisure.
For those who live in California - is the real estate market still severely depressed? My brother wants me to look for properties to buy in the Palm Springs area while I'm down there, and if it's anything like when I was down in the spring, it's definitely a buyer's market, but maybe that has changed...

still about the same. not so much the market, more to do with banks not lending out money. areas like palm springs (plush areas) are still expensive. prices in 'average' areas are still fairly low.
