Buck mentioned this might be a good game to get Chatwood back in there...

The Sox got embarrassed against Houston before this. Getting embarrassed so far this series. I really hope this is the beginning of the fall for that team of horseshoes. Tired of seeing them at the top of the standings when they have no business being there.

Yeah, the Sox have been lucky and the Jays have been unlucky so far.

Assuming the Jays can get the W today, the Jays will have a better expected record than the Sox, even though they will still be four and a half behind.

Only 2 players in baseball have scored 50 runs - Bichette 56 and Acuna 52 (Guerrero is T3 at 49).

However, Semien, Bichette and Guerrero have scored 149. So the avg for the 3 of them would be 2nd in the majors.

This is a massive jinx but... Vlad is on pace for 54 HRs and if he breaks 50 he'll be the youngest member of the 50 HR club.

You realize of course, that if he doesn't hit 50, it will be entirely on your shoulders.

And lifetime ban-worthy.

That's what should have happened in the 1st game too.

Hopefully the horse shoes have fallen out of the red Sox ases finally.
