Yeah I don't know what it us with these old guys Piers and Johnny Mac being offended because she quit. She was a surprise who made a run to round 4. She couldn't breathe. The medic told her to quit after set 1 but because of the occasion she tried to continue and lasted 3 more games. It's no big deal at all.

Kerber was up 5-2 in this 2nd set and looking to force a 3rd set, now it's 5-5 and Barty is looking to close it out in straight sets.

Ash looks fantastic. It's easy to cheer for someone so talented and humble.

I don't remember all this negative talk when teenager Lorenzo Musetti quit in the 5th set against Djokovic. He didn't quit because of a legitimate medical issue, he just said he couldn't win points anymore so he didn't want to waste people's time

There was, because he did quit, but it wasnt amplified because he's not English and it wasn't Wimbledon. You can't disrespect the French Open haha.

Just like to throw it out there ......best Grand Slam is the US Open. Partly because of the time zone difference, but it's run great, night matches have a great atmosphere, no dress codes and on the Men's side it's got the most parity .

this is not anything new or surprising for Piers. every couple of weeks he finds a new woman to target for their career, opinions, clothing, identity/sexuality, mental state, etc. he scores bonus points if they're a PoC. there's an audience for that kind of thing so it won't stop anytime soon, but I would much prefer not even being reminded that he and his followers exist.

Cliff Drysdale explains things to you like you're five. It's crazy how bad ESPN is. I heard Evert say this morning, she who controls the points will win a majority of them.

he tends to barrel into stuff with his old guy yelling at clouds opinion, sort of like a tennis Don Cherry. but at least he has the ability to walk it back when necessary, like he did with Osaka.

That's a tough loss for Sabalenka, but I don't think Ash Barty is going to be denied in the final.

I've got Berrettini in four sets and Djoker in five sets. Prove me wrong Denis.

If you think Denis can take two whole sets off the guy I think you're already going to be proved wrong but hey, you never know I guess.

I'll go as bold as to say Denis will be up two sets to one, but Novak will just do what Novak does and take sets four and five.
