Huh. Skeleton Crew is significantly more interesting in it's original Hungarian.
I have no idea what is happening and its some of the best Star Wars lately.

I was going to say, I actually really enjoyed the episode and I think that so far the series has been pretty good.

I'm really enjoying it too. I wish my kids were younger (they're 15 and 16 and too cool for everything) so they could enjoy it with me. They were the perfect age when Stranger Things came out and it was their Goonies.

Hopefully this is the "win" Kathleen Kennedy goes out with.
She previous stated she wants to retire with a win. I thought she would be waiting a while with the rate they're batting.

This show is just fun. It is not taking itself as seriously as the others and is just telling a Star Wars story. So far no Empire/New Republic, no Jedi/resistance, no politics, just adventure, and now it has a purpose with the treasure planet.
I like it so far!

Skeleton Crew has great pacing. They could milk some elements of the story line for multiple episodes but they don't. Feels like the story is go go go.
Also helps that it can appeal to a broader audience because you don't have to have watched a certain episode of Clone Wars or read a book from the Legends Expanded Universe to truly appreciate what is going on. No deep dives into the force. Original story line and characters.
Hopefully I am not speaking too soon.

God yes.
I remember watching the first episode of Asoka, and thinking I must have accidentally clicked the 2nd one, and going back to check because it felt like jumping into the middle of a story.
Which I guess it was. And should have been titled "Star Wars Rebels II" or whatever.
Loving the vibe and look of Skeleton Crew so far.
Watching that elephant kid when he's background is great too. When they were going back to the ship for the first time he picked up Jude Law's blaster and then quickly put it back down like it was a hot potato.

Well...that episode was kind of weak. Felt like just filler.

I don't like that elephant guy, or his people. And I suppose that makes me racist but I don't care.

I haven't got to this latest filler episode yet, but really enjoying this so far. It's obviously aimed at a younger audience, but it's also not Ewok movie level ridiculous. Really feels like a big budget Goonies in space. Jude Law's acting makes this pretty watchable too.

I kind of like the "Filler" episode, it was pretty dark, and it shows that the Republic just doesn't seem to care for rim planets.
The use of Child Soldiers also links back to the Clones, who were literally child soldiers and slaves as well.
This show is really well shot. It feels like Jude Law is having a blast, but we're going to see a real dark side to him to as it seems his end game is to use these kids.

Watching Jude Law is so refreshing. So much Star Wars has been so wooden lately.

Wouldn't call that last episode filler. They are building up to the explanation of what's going on with At Attin and how the pirate ship got there in the first place.

You missed the joke here!
Every new show must have a white person, a black person, and an Asian person. Black kid might be part muslim too if anyone cares.
Then we have to talk about the elephant in the room what character will be gay lesbian or transgender? So they cast an elephant.
I laughed so much. That was hilarious!

No one's group of friends is ever that representative of every major cultural group and orientation.
That's my gripe. It's unrealistic!

Well.
Steve Urkel is now in Star Wars. Never saw that coming.
