So the Switch and PS4 physical versions (normal and CE) have been crazy hard to get a hold of. Play Asia does have the asian version that has english on it though.
EDIT: Holy crap, ebay sold listings are . . . crazy.

It looks like there are good deals when using the digital downloads for games. If you go that route, can you uninstall and reinstall games as needed or if you’re done with a game can you transfer it to an sd card and sell it? Or are they basically tied to the Switch / account that originally purchased the game?

Yah, for physical releases, I've just been getting them through Playasia. It's nice that the English version works the same for most games. Was able to pick up rarer physical copies of games like this one and Grandia Remastered for a lot more reasonable prices on Playasia.
FF6 and Advanced Wars acquired. Now comes the balancing act of what and when to play. RIP my FFX play through. You will be not missed at all as I play an actually good FF game. /spit.

FFX, as much as I enjoyed it back in the day, has not really aged all that well. The voice acting and cheesy dialogue can get pretty eye rolling and cringey. Now I get most JRPGs have cheesy dialogue in general, but that's where the Japanese tracks come in for modern games lol.
I'd say FF12 is the superior Final Fantasy on PS2.

I actually like FFX now more than I did when I was younger. Same with FF8. With time, FF8 has become one of my favourites. X, I appreciate more, but I still think it's at the bottom of the list for PS Final Fantasys.
Well, we finally bought a Switch - used off FB Marketplace. My boys were over the moon excited and we definitely hammered out several hours of MarioKart. So now, having bought one, Nintendo will probably announce their next-gen console in short order.

GameStop Beacon Hill just called me about my pre-order. They are opening at 10pm on Thursday night, which is apparently permitted because it is midnight Eastern.
Pre-order bonus is a pin set, but he is unsure of the quantities that they'll get, so they are first come, first served.
He expects that there will be a decent lineup / gong show by 10pm, as they had 100 people waiting when Pokemon came out, and they have had 3x the pre-orders for this one. Or maybe he said 100 pre-orders for Pokemon. Either way - more for Zelda.
So, this 44-year-old man will probably pop out at lunch on Friday as I won't be able to play it until Friday night anyway. I mean, I'm excited about it too, but I don't think that I need to go full nerd for the "midnight" 10pm release. The guy says that my copy is 100% guaranteed to be there whenever I pick it up, and just the pin set is the wild card.

Oh yeah I have it preordered digitally, which will unlock at 10PM Thursday night. This 34-year old father of three has booked next Friday off so I can stay up egregiously late playing on Thursday and then the whole day Friday.
My wife understands Zelda is a special case, lol.

^ Are digital pre-orders downloaded in advance and then become playable at 10pm? I can only imagine the load on the servers for this one. Maybe downloads have already been happening in the days and weeks ahead of release. I'm still a cartridge guy for the big ones.
