I work with guys (we're in the Missouri-Kansas-Oklahoma tri-state area) who have said if there is ever a shooter here they are going out to their car to get their gun and coming back in to get the guy. And likely kill many more in friendly fire. Yay guns.
Unlike Joe citizen?

I don't think this is about mental illness anymore (in most instances). It's that somehow people have decided that shooting those who oppose you (on anything) is a decent solution to your mundane problems.

'The investigation by Major Crimes Unit Detectives and the analysis of the crime scene confirmed that the victim was accidentally shot by the young boy who was sitting in the back seat of the vehicle.

However Gilt may face criminal charges if the State Attorney's Office determine there was negligence on how the child obtained the firearm.

Men, women and children fled toward the porch, where another attacker waited with an "AK-47-type weapon," said Stephen Zappala, the district attorney for Allegheny County.

The two gunmen killed six family members at the home in Wilkinsburg, including a woman who was 8-months pregnant.

Not a mass shooting, but still.

A U.S. Capitol Police officer was shot Monday at the Capitol Visitor Center complex, and the shooter was taken into custody, Capitol officials and police said.

The event unfolded with Congress on recess and lawmakers back in their districts.

It occurred in the Visitors Center of the sprawling Capitol Complex. Staffers, reporters and others were told to "shelter in place" and not allowed to leave their offices. The White House and the Capitol complex were put on lockdown.

This week Labute Penitentiary, a medium security prison in Deacon County Texas, announced it will be recognizing the Second Amendment right of all its prisoners.

"The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed just because an individual is in jail!"

"Of course I know this is a prison, but it is an American prison," said Warden Lyle Wyatt in his interview with Pat Kelly.

not to mention the time and noise it takes to load up that much armament.

That's a heavy ass bag for one guy to load up and shift quietly.

And how lucky that the alarm happened to be off as well! I mean it's almost like the thief knew that there'd be no alarm on and the manager would be out back minding his own business counting a wad of fifties from a brown envelope he found on the mat.

Wasn't there a gun robbery in Calgary a few years back that was a inside job?

What happened to the honorable, "Ok buddy, now hit me in the face and make it look good so everyone will think I was knocked out"

Todays super criminals are complete wussies.
