That’s funny. I saw the walking talking hotdog tweet out the same thing.
I don’t think anyone should tell them that lobbying period is over.

Lots of exciting, low scoring games over these last two days with few penalties called. It’s actually been an enjoyable experience as a viewer and the definition of real playoff hockey, unlike the games involving the Oilers that always devolve into lopsided McPP-filled gong shows.
Edmonton = no good.

I agree, it’s nice to watch actual hockey like it’s meant to be played, 5 on 5

The league knows that in order to get the ratings up, they need to get Mcpp out there as much as possible. Highlight real goals will bring ratings. They’re purposely giving them more power plays

That would require someone to go there and I'm not sure anyone here is up to the task after that advertisement.

I've watched a few games at Jamesons, they have 10% off for all Canadian teams, and are giving away jersey's for all teams whenever they played. Oilers games are fairly empty, Leafs games were the busiest. Likely because there's another bar on 17th Ave that is the absolute unofficial home of Oilers fans. 3 levels filled to the brim with degenerates every game. Can't even get a bar seat without a reservation. Well-known to be owned by a huge Oilers fan, they have an Oilers flag up year-round.
Would name but the owner is one of the greatest guys you'll meet, coaches at MRU, sponsors countless local sports programs, and is even hosting a viewing party for the Calgary Canucks later this week.
But we should absolutely lower ourselves to the level of Edmonton fans and demand boycotts or better yet call Scorch!! I hope the company goes out of business and someone else can step forward with tens of thousands in donations per year for Calgary youth sports.

He decided to make his bar the "home" of the city's most hated rival. He should feel shame.

He didn't do anything. Oilers fans gravitated there. He is an Oilers fan and doesn't hide it, and does more for Calgary youth sports than anyone I know. I can't tell who's joking and who's serious as Jamesons actually received threats, and all Flames fans should feel shame for that. I think we're better than that as Flames fans and Calgarians.

Doesn't matter. If he's a known raging Bumonton fan then he's No Good.
No amount of good guy behaviour can atone for that.

Nobody should be threatened
That isn't right
Lighthearted mocking
That's ok

Exactly. Can't tell who's joking and who's serious but some people took it too far matching the rhetoric in this thread. Staff were told not to wear any team gear cause of comments made to the establishment. That's truly shameful, someone can't even be a fan of another team in Calgary.

You should feel shame about it if you are the one who threatened them, not if you did nothing but be a Flames fan and/or a Calgarian. Nobody threatened them in this thread. In fact we were encouraging other bars to give a 15% discount to the fans of their opponents.
They should be better as Calgarians than advertising a 10% Oilers discount.
