Airbus launched the A330NEO today. Looks quite nice
Looks kinda like they stole the winglets off a 787. I don't know...after seeing new stuff like the 787 and even the A380, some aircraft (the A330 and A340 in particular) just look bland and dated to me, haha.

The 787 doesn't have winglets. The winglets look to be the same as the A350.
The USAF's Deadliest F-16 Viper Pilot On Women, Combat, And The F-35
Pretty good read on the opinions of a highly decorated US fighter pilot

#3: What was the most frustrating thing about being a fighter pilot in the USAF?
That flying is not the focus of the USAF. It sounds axiomatic but it's true. Political correctness, appearances, humanitarian missions, and not offending anyone are the focus.

#10: How do you feel about the F-35 program?
I was with the F-22 for a few years trying to make it an alternative to the F-35. Didn't work. It was never meant to be a multirole fighter. The whole $3B add ons program was for appearances. They wanted me to fudge reports to make it appear more capable than it was - wouldn't do it. I think the F-35 is the way of the future BUT the unit cost is so high that it will never be able to assume all the commitments faced by an air force deployed around the globe. Either the commitments decrease or we keep around a few older aircraft. I believe the F-16 is the real answer for that as it's a real multi-role fighter.

#11: What are your thoughts on women in the role of fighter pilot?
As for women in fighters... if someone was selected the same way I was, went through the same nasty process, and came out good enough to get into fighters (with no exceptions nor quotas) then I don't care who it is; what color they are, if they sit to pee or how they pray. What I care about is them doing their job and not getting me killed.
Nope, their tweet is about their Tokyo-Haneda flight, our flight is to Narita and leaves early afternoon. The 787 coming our way won't be here until 1645.
Here is the YYZ-Haneda flight, currently on the way:

I'm pretty sure this is just British Airways switching to the 787 on their YYC route, IAG Cargo must contract hold space with them.
This is my understanding as well! I feel this is one thing that many regular passenger are unaware of: that is the amount of cargo that gets moved on regular passenger service flights, in particular international itineraries.

Gate check. Then you can use it with the kid right up until the gate.Putting it in a hockey bag is a pretty good idea. I assume you can still gate check. just bring the empty bag. maybe call the airline to confirm.
Thank you, I called and checked Air Canada's website and they will only gate check collapsible strollers.
Ours is a 2 piece pram style stroller where the pram detaches and acts as a mini crib (or so we hope). We were lead to believe that only basic collapsible ones can be checked at the gate.
Our flight is at midnight so if we cant gate check it we will be in a bind at the check in desk.

Sorry, my mistake. I meant to say wingtips. It's got a sharper tip than the A350 winglets though. It's not exact, of course, but it looks similar to the raked wingtips on the 787. At least it does to me, unless I'm on crack.
A Westjet 737 just blew a tire on an aborted takeoff.

I’m on WestJet 1680 - we blew a tire on takeoff. Pilot recovered, we skidded to a halt. Now waiting on runway. Safe it seems. Whew!
