Young took a medical timeout to get a back rub and isn't moving well at all - Of course, he is down 5-1 in this second set and is likely saving energy for the 3rd set.

I'm not sure if Young has hurt himself in this second set but it looks like Polansky has this match completely wrapped up now hitting some incredibly clean shots from the baseline leaving Yougn without any answers.

There it is, after dropping the first set 7-5, Polansky takes the second set by a 6-1 score. Young hasn't looked good at all since taking the medical timeout in the second set.

Polansky needs to jump all over him again in these first 2-3 games of the third set to make sure Young stays down. An early break by Young would be a major shot in the arm.

Despite Young's injusry, Polansky is hitting cleaner than I've ever seen. This event could definitely finally push him into the top 100 if he can seal the deal here and get a decent first round opponent.

God dammit Polansky, you have to lose this match! This is the chance of a lifetime you're pissing away!

The #6 has won so for sure in the LL draw.
PoLLansky just got his serve broken in the 3rd.

Young just broke him to take a 2-1 lead in set 3.

Disappointing that PoLLansky can't beat this mug.

Well, PoLLansky held his serve that game, but he's likely just delaying the inevitable now.

4-2 Young in the third and up a break. Looking dire for PP.

Great hold by PoLLansky here by hitting with incredible authority. This next game is the one to break back and level this set.

The Donald Young has a penchant for crumbling under pressure. Wouldn't be surprised to see a massive choke on his part or at the very least a spree of in-explainable errors.

Well, PP only has one more chance to break. It's now now or never.

Donald Young is a terrible tennis player. The fact that Polansky lost to him is embarrassing, especially for someone who wants to seriously become a top 100 player.

Wow i think PoLLansky has some serious beef here. That moon ball return looked out by a fair margin.....up to the luck of the draw now.
Edit: Replay shows it likely did infact clip the line.

With 54 grand on the line for making the main draw, why don't they have Hawk-eye technology in place for these final qualifying matches? There were several times during the match where Peter was questioning line calls and I don't think the umpire overruled once in this match.
Edit: I just did see the replay and it was indeed very close.

Yeah it's pretty strange. I think the Aussie open has it on all courts throughout qualies and main draw now.
