Yeah, new iron Banner is awesome. I really like that the bounties give gear upon completion.
I've consistently been getting great drops too, allowing me to boost from 366 to 369.
Really hate the game mode though. Team mates need to stop stealing my tags!

I'm surprised, Anduril. I thought you'd be busy with Iron Banner
|
Iron Banner has been fun although the whole hand gun/shotgun meta does get tiresome after a while, I wholeheartedly blame Nhamlet for this. His absurd PvP skills are appalling and are a direct result for this shift, for shame sir, for shame.
I apologize about that rant but something really needed to be said, the high drop rate in IB has kicked me up to 362 so that's good, right? I have everyone on my friends list except for Bruce and mrkajz44 so I've sent you both a PSN request, you'll be happy to have added me, I'm pretty quiet and super kewel.

Great gameplay.
Do you record every game?

I occasionally upload stuff to YouTube whether it's a full match or a jumble of clips like this. Mostly streaming on twitch when I'm playing.
I both hate and love Supremacy. It caters to my playstyle but dealing with too many people at once is a little much sometimes.

It's definitely a shotgunner's dream.
I've been using scouts pretty much exclusively in the crucible, as I'm usually good for easy 3 crit shot kills, but supremacy is very cqc. I get 15 kills in a match, but only register 5-6 kills since I'm killing at range, and can't get to the tags in time. I might try running a universal remote and a shotgun and see how that goes.

I'd be down to raid if someone drops out. Haven't played all week.

Kill credit is seperate from crest credit. There are three different things you get points for: kills, looting enemy crests, looting friendly crests (preventing the enemy from looting it).
That's my understanding, at least. Although Destiny is down for me all of a sudden...

There are crests, denies, and kills credited.
I'm pretty confident if the opposing team denies your team from retrieving a crest, the kill doesn't count.
If not, then the game is glitching out for me, because several games today I know that I had more than 3-4 kills, but that's all I was credited with.

2 points for a enemy crest pickup, 1 to the person who got the kill (kill credit) , 1 to the person who picked it up (crests looted).
If somebody picks up a friendly crest, they deny the enemy team from getting any points.

So apparently I am in a time warp and didn't realize it was Thanksgiving this weekend. As such, I already have plans Saturday afternoon and will not be available to raid. No big deal as I was just a reserve anyway, but just a heads up that I cannot no longer back-up.
Also having a love / hate relationship with supremacy. I feel like I've developed an okay style for it, but seem to trade much too often with an enemy player picking up both crests. I feel like I am not helping my team in the long run right now. Still need to develop a feel for when to rush and when to hang back.

Yeah, I'm still good to go. Picking up some pumpkins this weekend, but no plans other than relaxing after a long week of work.

Finally hit rank 5.
Despite consistently getting 20-30 points and finishing top two on my team routinely, I went on a 11 game losing streak.
It's like the opposite team is always paired up so when I inevitability trade shotgun kills with someone, their team gets the point.
I'll be staying far away from supremacy from now on.

I need to bail relatively last second here since the lady friend had surprised me by coming into town for the weekend and I'm working most of it.
So Steve you're up to the plate. I'd like to make the next time though.

Was able to run with a pretty decent LFG group last night - loving the new raid. There are still a lot of mechanics that require organization, but there is some forgiveness which allows for improvisation and some great moments. Really well designed in my opinion.
Only tough part was we couldn't down the final boss - we were all a little underleveled (mostly 365 guys) and it was just too tough to stay alive. Will need to grind the IB and get some more light levels and try again next week.
Good luck everyone!

I honestly had the time of my life, everyone was super supportive of one another. We had great guides showing those who hadn't played this Raid before what to do and everyone really played to their strengths.
Diverce: Supplied much need DPS and had interesting gender views
SuperBobaFett: Did a great job of being Rollbomb's chaperone
Bruce (Gwaiah): Fantastic leader but needs to work on differentiating between his Lefts & Rights
Strykersteve: Acted as the glue that kept the team together and showed us when not to die
FanIn80 (rollbomb):...........I will NEVER look at a table or chair leg the same way again
