The Ruzicka comparison to me is just lazy... yeah, they are both tall Slovaks. Does the comparison go beyond that?
Honzek is significantly better than Ruzicka was at the same age.

Hozrek - rudzika - Phillips
Would make Phillips look like a kid size wise.

Haha, on the other hand he's 6'3 + good at hockey. He's basically a Jason Robertson clone.

I’ve listened to Conroy say “no major signings” like 1000x. Makes me gleeful.

If he gets to the start of the season without signing a journeyman vet to take up a roster spot, that's the true test.

Any chance you could let us in on who the Flames were looking at, at 14 and 15?

So Montreal owes us "Future Considerations" still. I have a couple questions about that. First, what's the time limit on that? 5 years? 10? Infinity and beyond? Secondly, what would that even be? A 7th roud pick maybe?
Edit: OOOO How's about they send us back Moneyhands!!!! Yeah!

I'd consider offersheeting Bouchard as honoring their future considerations.

William Nylander's desired price on a potential contract extension is currently higher than what the Toronto Maple Leafs are willing to pay, The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun reports.
There is a "sizeable gap" between the two sides at the moment, LeBrun adds.

I can see Toronto trying to get him for under $9, while I bet Nylander is looking for Huberdeau's contract.

Career high 87 points, only over 1 PPG once. If he thinks he deserves Huberdeau money (and no doubt he does), he's delusional

87 points while not playing on a line with Matthews or Marner. I'm sure he wants to get paid.
