I've had my bank do this, but I think it's beyond the scope of what a normal teller is able or willing to do.

Forgery? I've seen legitimate cheques go through the bank with no signatures on them (by accident of the client). When you call the bank, they claim it's not their problem and responsibility to verify that cheques have met all required criteria before being processed. I first saw this over a decade ago, in the last few years, I still occasionally see it happen. Post date cheques get processed early all the time too. Same issue, not the bank's problem.

Cable/utility boxes - are you allowed to attach things to them? For some reason, I didn't think you were.

....

Back in the day, when I worked in TD Square at a financial management firm, my branch admin really effed up and deposited an incredibly large sum of money into the wrong account. Not quite sure how she did that, but hooooo boy, I remember the frantic phone calls between her and the bank for several days. It was a mess.

I once had my bank branch screw up and multiplied a cheque deposit rather than add it to my account. They caught it right away but it was fun to look at the record of my multi million dollar account even it was only for a few seconds.

Did you screen shot it and leave it out on the table when guests come over...

"Oh I forgot to file that...thanks..."

Yeah this is my issue. Given everything is done electronically these days it should take a matter of minutes to confirm the validity of the funds. I've had several instances of selling vehicles for $50k+ and it's frustrating to have to wait a full week before I can touch the funds paid for my goods that someone else is fully utilizing at after the time of sale. Even if they offered some sort of fee to expedite I would probably get on board with that as it just feels like they are milking the system, holding that money as long as possible. There's got to be a better way where the funds can be transferred faster and more efficiently.

Ya, I avoid the unfortunate issue of eating my lunch to early by starting to snack at 8:30, and not stopping until lunch time. The trick is lots of snacks.

Couple of things:

1) If you keep the wheel straight and absolutely never hit yhe brakes, you can ride a bike on a treadmill (verified).

2) I don't recommend trying 1)

You can also ride a skateboard on a treadmill. Make sure the back of it isn't too close to a wall though, because you will be making sudden, intimate contact with it.

First part Confirmed.
Second part not confirmed or experienced.
Also fun if your treadmill does a decline too.

I really have to stop using the expression "Have a good one!" to people when leaving. By far the response I get the most is "Good, you?"

(I think I may talk too fast)

I have that issue too where a snack just sets me off. It's like being a little horny and the solution is to watch porn but not touch yourself
