I had a friend who when talking about his parents would always say "Mom" or "Dad", not "My Mom" or "My Dad".

They're not my parents, don't call them "Mom" or "Dad", f'ing creep.

Nah I’m with Sliver. Nana and Papa are lame.

Baba and Gido? Cool. Nonna and nonno? Even better. The more ethnic the better.
