Awesome episode, I really liked the side interactions with the guys outside.
Coles notes on the end for those confused:
Gov: "When they bring in Michonne, kill them all"
Nerd: "You can't kill them all"
Gov: "OK not all, just the Men (ie: Keep the kids and women alive)"
Nerd: "That is a slaughter"
Gov: "Not to us, we are doing the slaughtering"
Nerd: [look of disillusionment]

Hmmm so no one is allowed to criticize an all talking show? hahahaha. People keep bringing up this character building crap. You can build character and have action in 45 minutes right? It's like they used up all their special effects budget and had to put in filler.... hahaha
Nice to see Andrea is still the Chris Butler of TV.
I can't stop watching because of ones like last weeks awesome episode.

No not at all, but it seems that unless the show is a live actiono version of the comic you dislike it. hahahaha
I actually, think the action v talking ratio it prob pretty realistic.
The show is "based on the comics".

Agreed, I have never opened the comic, and I am glad. Some posters need to remove the "comic glasses" when they watch the show.

hahaha. that is the biggest load of crap ever. I might not like the direction the show may take sometime but when i watch, i'm watching the Walking Dead TV show. Not that talking dead filler crap they had on yesterday. I don't need "comic glasses" to see bad acting or ridiculous gun fight scenes.

I can see Rick or Michonne drawing the Woodbury crew over to Morgan's area and letting him pick them off sniper-style and with grenades and some of those booby traps.

It's like the Flames. One game good, one game bad. What a waste of an episode. It could have been done in 10 minutes.
One huge thing the TV series missed out on was giving us a background story on the main characters, a pre-zombie look. Too late to implement that now.
|
I still don't know why you watch this show, you hate like 90% of the episodes.

Not the best episode. Definitely pales in comparison to last week. But I felt it was a necessary one. Humanizes boths sides a bit more before the incoming battle.
I thought it was ironic that the Woodbury folk and Prison folk were being so civil with each other at the Silo, while back in the prison, there's so much conflict and fighting. And it was nice for Glenn and Maggie to shag one out before the fight too lol.

It would be interesting to see the Governor see the tides turning, and make a getaway, but stealing the baby on his way out as an insane attempt to replace the daughter he lost. It would force Rick to hit the road in pursuit.

But i do hate andrea on screen 90% of the time. the other 10% is when she is showing her ass and not talking.

It is a great show, and poor acting aside, does a much better job of exploring the moral issues that would occur in the state of nature than the comics.

i expected when they finished up that they would roll up the door to leave and a couple of Zombies were going to be there and they would both get a kill in to symbolize a back to the madness of the world they live in statement.

You had probably the shows two strongest actors/characters play a game of mental chess, which I thought was well done. I felt the tension from the face to face meeting and the nervous energy from the 'henchmen' from both sides while they waited for their respective leader.

Well considering how they killed Dale on the show, the super strength zombies would have ripped it right off. cool!
