Was invited to tag along on a raid last night, was lots of fun. I love how many secrets are packed into it. I can't even comprehend how people figured out some of those things. Didn't beat the last boss yet, but had a blast regardless.

Blasted through most of the raid yesterday. Did a bunch of the secret crap, but it was kind of in vain because we couldn't be the last boss during our run, and you need to clear the whole raid in one go for any of it to matter lol. We were sooo close too. Just needed one more cycle, but then we panicked a bit when he got enraged lol. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to beat the raid tonight though, then we'll do a full run again on the weekend with our mains to get that step of the stupid quest done lol.

Finally finished the raid last night! If only we could have done it all in one shot the previous night for Outbreak Prime because we did all the steps in the raid for it on our first run. We're going to try that again this weekend. After that I'm off on vacation of Japan for 3 weeks. Everyone's gonna outlevel me something fierce by the time I'm back lol.

So I read up on the Outbreak Prime quest. All I can say is "wow". First, how did anyone possibly figure that out, and second, it's going to be tough to find people with whom to complete all those complicated steps.

I still have yet to actually complete the raid, so I'm a bit behind! Oh well, I think I'll have some time next weekend to complete the full raid and do the first steps at least.
Also, IB returns on Oct 4 and will be Supremacy.

I believe the only reason people figured out the quest was because Bungie invited popular Destiny streamers to participate in an ARG that provided all of the pertinent info, once it was figured out.

You basically have to set up your raid team with 2 of each class. I did it last night and it worked out that way. 3 of us wanted to do it through to the end that night. Ended up being an 8 or so hour quest including the raid to get it. Gun is pretty fun though.
Good thing is, it looks like you get prototype cores that you can use to help out other people. So if they need a hunter at a certain step then you can grab the the core and use to sync the other peoples, so that's a plus.

The CP run didn't happen, not with me anyways. I did, however, get into a run with another group, and we decided to go for Outbreak Prime. It took all damn day, but we finally got it. Amazing gun, I love it. Against Fallen, it's like a mini-Ghally.

Hopped into a raid with a buddy last night at 3am with a bunch of Australians. I was pretty hammered, so I was terrible and it was hilarious. We made it to the siege engine and I kept getting electrocuted lol

That will be fine for like 90% of the raid. I'd say to get enough DPS on the final boss, it's best is everyone is in that 365 range at minimum though. On the plus side, you should be collecting 365+ drops in the raid along the way, so worth it to push through as much of it as you can.

355-360 for start of raid. 365-370 for end. If you have a few high levels that are 375+ you may even be able to sneak through.
The real issue with the Destiny community is that LFG sites are notorious for unnecessary demands. (Must be 370+ with emblem, know every fight, etc.)
I have a main and an alt. I would love to do a CP run with my alt sometime over the long weekend if people are around.
