Had a chance to finally do a long exposure with a waterfall during my trip to Taiwan. I can see the value in having a good ND filter in the near future.

Lots of bears on Hwy 93 between TCH and Radium this weekend. Also saw the grizzly mom with two really cute cabs but the ranger was there protecting them and didn't let anyone stop even for a brief moment.

Robin's nest under my deck. couldn't get the focus I wanted because the mom was getting anxious and it was a bit awkward to hold the camera at that angle.

This is great. Blue sky mirrors the shape of the orange and the clouds form a bit of a skyline too. Contrasting colours of the "day/night" chunks of sky look cool as well. Dunno what your other crops were like, but I dig this one.

Thanks for your input!
I'm not talking about anything drastic like cutting out the blue part. That's a different shot (though I also have that one).
Spoiler!
Here's my first crop (that I ninja edited out)
I didn't like the smaller light blue patch down and left of the main one - particularly so close to the edge.
There's also something like this, which has rotational symetry between the blue and the orange. I think I dislike it because the blue has no negative space between it and the edge, but in theory the rotational mirroring should be cool.
For reference, what I went with again.
And here's the uncropped image after keystone correction, to show you what I had to work with.
You can see that I didn't quite shoot it wide enough to get good negative space around the small blue bit after perspective correction, not that I necessarily think it should be included anyways.
I think I like this one the best because of the mirroring.
Spoiler!
If you like the negative space to the left of the blue in the wider shot, have you tried cloning the smaller blue bit out? I think I'd still prefer the tighter crop, but it's a cool shot either way.

I haven't - editing is major weakness for me. I feel like it would be tough to clone it out, but I can see a local desaturation working.
I feel like I've got it to the point where it's not going to get much better without me taking a course or two to learn how to edit well. My time would now be better spent working on other shots.

Clouds are one of the easier things you'll clone in photoshop. It doesn't look perfect, but here's a quick whip up of it cloned.
