Hit 371, using Omnigul farm to get to just about 364 and some RNG through packages, archon forge grind and exotic engrams.
Couple random thoughts, seeing this weird nonexistent upper tier has really made the grind endless because people have already reached 380+ in what was supposed to be a 365 recommended light level raid. Totally my fault but burning myself out on dedicating towards one character. Given the depth of ROI, I wouldn't be surprised to see a general disappointment in the Raid.
Will still enjoy doing it all blind with friends in the end though. Curious to see how the Super leveling will affect Raid completions day 1.

I just saw a tweet that Raid light level is 370. Even if I could raid this Sunday I won't be near that so I am out 100% .

I went a bit MIA there to avoid any spoilers, but I guess that was over the top.
I played pretty much all Thursday night and today and there is no way I will be raid ready for Sunday either. I am at 357 light if I get put on my best gear, but it's a mash up at best. Getting to 345 or so was okay, but past that is an epic grind.
That nightfall it outrageous too. I like the mechanics, but the shanks dropping from above with arc burn makes that almost impossible at my current light level.
Anyway - I'll be out for the raid Sunday. Too bad. Although this could be good where I slowly work my way up and enjoy the content a bit more than trying to level up as fast as possible. I'll still be one Sunday for most of the day though.
Happy hunting gaurdians

I'm only at 349, the grind is real. Anyone want to hook up for some strikes or Forge?

I got to 358 last night, but that took a toll on me, lol. Going to spend today outside. Mustn't let Destiny completely take over or my wife will divorce me.

Went in tonight and completed about 2/3rds of the raid. If you can keep away from news, def try to go in blind. I did and had a blast. Very fun raid so far

Had a great time running the raid with the CP group we got together. We may not have gotten too far, but it was a blast. Thanks to everyone!
As always, the new expansion does not disappoint. The story may have been "light", but with the new quests, new raid, updated strikes, and new crucible mode I know I'll be playing for a long time to get through everything.

It was great playing with you guys. It was especially fun how quickly we figured out the first part of the raid and how excited we were when we finally took down Vosik. We should coordinate again for another play through.

Yeah running that raid blind was a blast. My light was a little low, I think 360 would have been more in line with my skill.
Anytime you guys want to run it again id be willing to give it another go.

Every raid has been pretty progressive in terms of light level. I think maybe two of us were above 360 when we tried the raid. I was 354, and the lowest was 351. Still got through most of the raid without too much difficulty DPS-wise. Really it just came down to being able to solve the mechanics.
We made it as far as the final encounter. By the time we weekend was over and we got a few of the raid drops in-hand, we were all 360-365. Couldn't beat the last boss last night, but I'm quite sure we figured out its mechanics. Still took us about 4 hours to get there, and been stuck on the last boss for about 2 hours.
New raid has been a total blast though! The music and the level design are soooo good. Yeah the raid mechanics are a bit simpler, but I like this level of difficulty. This will be the first time we have solved a raid totally on our own! Going to power our way to the end again today and take the boss down!!

I'm back home this evening, but have hockey. Hoping to play some more throughout the evenings the rest of the week because I won't be traveling the remainder of this week.

I didn't feel too squishy in the raid in the high 350s, but I did feel like I had an issue with the majors. Overall DPS on the boss seemed reasonable and not a major issue, but it took forever to take down the majors. Maybe I wasn't using the right loadout, but next time I think I'll run a sword (exotic if possible).
Looking forward to running it again as I'm only about halfway through, but will likely have to wait until next weekend as I'm away this one. Hopefully I can stay "blind" for the most part, though I think it'll be hard.

Had the day off, so I played quite a bit today. Only jumped from 351-356.
